This project will study the effects of acute stress on decision-making, in particular, reaction time in decision-making tasks. Therefore, the advantages of investigating the link between stress and decision-making will firstly be discussed. Then, it will be discussed which moderators and mediators play a role in the relationship between stress and decision-making followed by reaction time as a measure of decision-making. Thirdly, the effect of acute stress on the pace of decision-making will be discussed followed by the characters of stress. Then, the different measurements of stress will be discussed. Finally, the aim of the current study will be stated.
