This research deals with the subject of the reasons for persisting in sins and its treatment in the light of the Sunnah. First of all the researcher in this study clarifies definition of the concept of sin and persisting in them, and then explains linguistic and synonyms of sin in Shari'a texts especially in the Sunnah. After that explained the distinction of the sin in contained in the Sunnah and there he recalled the Sin is seperated into two parts as major sins and minor sins, and he clarified the provision to persisting in them. Then he clarified the reasons for committing sin and insist upon it; like belittling sins, and the predominance of lust and temptations, and waswasah the devil, and the weakness of the faith, and concern for the life and then explained the warn of the Sunnah them. Although Islamic law recognizes that man sins and disobeys, and Islam is a religion of instict, but at the same time point out the ways to get rid of sins and the ways to save himself from sin. In this sense, the researcher mentioned of methods with guidelines of the prophetic Sunnah for persisting in sins; as gradient in the treatment, special treatment for offenders, and intent on sin, and directing to prayers, and modify tendencies and trends. Finally, the researcher made a statement guarantees not to return to sin again, in the method of the Hadiths which are indicated the need for stability to repentance, and intimidations for committing sins, and the 162 abandonment of disobedience environment, mixing with the righteous people, and purification of soul.
