Özet
Hanzade Servi'nin seçili eserlerinin tekinsiz tür özelliklerine göre incelendiği bu çalışmada, Freud'un görüşlerinden yola çıkılarak tekinsiz kavramının tanımı ve tekinsiz etki oluşturan kodların kullanımı üzerinde durulmuş; tekinsiz türün faire tales (peri masalları) ile fantastik türden farklılıkları Todorov'un görüşleriyle desteklenerek ifade edilmiştir. Tekinsiz etki meydana getiren kodlar, edebi eserlerdeki kişiler ve mekân ögeleri kapsamında değerlendirilerek kodlama sistemi oluşturulmuştur. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi yönteminin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada Hanzade Servi'nin örneklem olarak seçilen öykü ve romanlarında yer alan tekinsizlik kodlarının frekans değerleri tespit edilmiştir. Tekinsizliği zayıflatan rüya ve komik olgularının romandaki kullanımları incelenerek bu kodların tekinsizliğe etkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz kullanılarak incelenmiş ve romandan alıntılar yapılarak örneklendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Hanzade Servi'nin seçili eserlerden yedi hikâye ve iki romanı tekinsiz tür özelliği gösterirken diğer roman ve hikâyelerin tekinsiz türe uygun olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Hanzade Servi'nin eserlerinde tekinsiz etki en çok mekândaki düşünsel her şeye gücü yetme kodu ile sağlanmıştır. Yazarın eserlerinde mekânı tekinsiz kılan kodların, kişilerden kaynaklı tekinsizlik kodlarından daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın tekinsizlik kavramı ve tekinsiz tür üzerine yapılacak çalışmalara katkı sağlaması öngörülmektedir.

In this study, in which selected works of Hanzade Servi are examined according to their uncanny genre characteristics, the definition of the concept of the uncanny and the use of codes that create an uncanny effect are emphasized, based on Freud's views; The differences between the fairy tales (faire tales) of the uncanny genre and the fantastic genre are expressed by supporting Todorov's views. A coding system was created by evaluating the codes that create an uncanny effect within the scope of the people and space elements in the literary works. In this study, in which the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used, the frequency values of the uncanny codes in Hanzade Servi's stories and novels selected as samples were determined. The use of dream and comic phenomena in the novel, which weakens the uncanny, has been examined and the effect of these codes on the uncanny is emphasized. The data obtained were analyzed using content analysis and descriptive analysis and exemplified by quoting from the novel. As a result, it has been determined that while Hanzade Servi's seven stories and two novels from selected works show the characteristics of the uncanny genre, the other novels and stories are not suitable for the uncanny genre. In Hanzade Servi's works, the uncanny effect is mostly provided by the intellectual omnipotence code in the space. It has been seen that the codes that make the place uncanny in the works of the author are more than the codes of uncanny originating from people. It is anticipated that this study will contribute to the studies on the concept of the uncanny and the uncanny species.
