In this thesis, the causes and consequences of the Syrian Civil War, which has been going on since 2011, are taken in detail both in terms of human rights and international law. Important issues such as the legal status, economic return, citizenship status, social integration, education, and statistics of Syrian refugees have been addressed. The Syrian refugee problem, political, economic, security, legal, and social dimensions, as well as with the humanitarian aspect is evaluated when millions of displaced Syrians themselves based on international law recognized a basic human right of asylum should not be forgotten. Therefore, Turkey's ability to deal with Syrian refugees, one of the heavy bills the Syrian crisis has imposed on Turkey, requires that all international actors, especially the EU and the United States, contribute more and make a more effective effort to make that contribution. 3 A solution can be found to this problem, which has grown exponentially with the intensification of the civil war in Syria, if the international community fulfills its responsibilities arising from international law and refugee rights.
