The financial management of non-financial corporations and banks are quite similar but apart from that it also has important disparities, distinguishing financial management's study of banks from these non-financial corporations. Banks in developing countries are mostly dependent on their internal financial sources as compared to large banks in developed nations. Thus, the working capital management's part in banks' liquidity in developing economies is more important than in developed economies. The study analyzed a sample of 17 years from 2001 to 2017 to see if there is any link between WCM and profitability. Data for five different proxies of working capital management were analyzed against the ROE of Barclays bank and it was found that the profitability of the bank is significantly associated with the bank's WCM. The research also found leverage of the firm is positively related with the profitability of the company,
