Özet
Bu çalışma ile Türkiye'de yaygınlığı giderek artmakta olan ve çocuğun yüksek yararı açısından oldukça büyük öneme sahip koruyucu aile hizmet modeline yönelik Çankırı ilinde yaşayan ve araştırmaya katılan ailelerin bakış açısı ortaya koyulmaya ve bu hizmet modelinin toplum içindeki yeri ve önemine dair ipuçları elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda belirlenen alt amaçlar; koruyucu aile hizmet modelinin katılımcılar tarafından nasıl algılandığı, katılımcıların koruyucu aile olmaya ilişkin düşünceleri, koruyucu aile hizmetinin yaygınlaştırılmasın ilişkin görüş ve önerilerinin belirlenmesi ve bu hizmet modeline ilişkin nitelikli bir yaygınlaşma ile birlikte literatüre katkı sağlanması olmuştur. Yapılan nitel çalışmayla; Türkiye'de giderek yaygınlaşan ve çocuğun yüksek yararı açısından oldukça önemli olan koruyucu aile hizmet modeline ilişkin koruyucu aile yönetmeliğince koruyucu aile olma şartlarını sağlayan eşlerin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolay ulaşılır ve ölçüt örnekleme yöntemleri kullanılarak belirlenen ve Çankırı ilinde yaşayan 10 evli çift olmak üzere toplamda 20 katılımcı ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığıyla derinlemesine görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler nitel veri analiz programı MAXQDA 18 kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan bireylerin önemli bir kısmının koruyucu aile olma konusunda olumsuz düşünceye sahip olduğu ve söz konusu hizmet modelinin yeterince yaygın olmadığının ifade edildiği, bu düşüncelerin bireysel, çevresel ve hizmet modelinden kaynaklı çeşitli sebeplere bağlı olarak ortaya çıkabildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda koruyucu aile hizmet modelinin yaygınlığının artırılmasına yönelik yapılabilecek çalışmalara ilişkin önerilere yer verilmiştir.

With this study, it has been tried to reveal the perspective of families living in Çankırı and participating in the research on the foster family service model, which is increasingly prevalent in Turkey and has a great importance in terms of the best interests of the child, and to obtain clues about the place and importance of this service model in the society. Sub-objectives determined for this purpose; The purpose of this study was to determine how the foster family service model was perceived by the participants, the participants' thoughts on becoming a foster family, their views and suggestions on the expansion of the foster family service, and to contribute to the literature with a qualified dissemination of this service model.In the qualitative study; A total of 20 participants, 10 married couples living in Çankırı, were determined by using the criterion sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods, in order to determine the opinions of spouses who meet the conditions of being a foster family in accordance with the foster family regulation regarding the foster family service model, which is becoming increasingly widespread in Turkey and is very important for the best interests of the child. In-depth interviews were conducted with a semi-structured interview form. The obtained data were analyzed using the qualitative data analysis program MAXQDA 18. Within the scope of the research, it was aimed to reveal the perceptions of the participants about having a child and providing the care and supervision of another child, the concept of the child in need of protection and the services provided in this context. In addition, the prevalence of the foster family service model in the society and their ideas and thoughts on increasing this prevalence were tried to be determined, together with the perceptions of the participants about the foster family service model and being a foster family. It has been concluded that a significant part of the individuals participating in the research have negative thoughts about being a foster family and that the service model in question is not widespread enough, and that these thoughts may arise due to various reasons originating from the individual, environmental and service model. As a result of the research, suggestions regarding the studies that can be done to increase the prevalence of the foster family service model are included.
