Özet
Bu tezin amacı Bertrand Russell'ın metafiziğinin etkilerini, özgünlüğünü ve güncelliğini ortaya koymaktır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada Bertrand Russell'ın felsefesinde yargı bağlamında gönderim sorunu incelenmiştir. Bu bakımdan, önerme, önermenin parçaları ve gerçeklik arasındaki ilişkinin nasıl çözümlendiği sergilenmiştir. Bu amaçla öncelikle Russell'ın düşüncelerinin tarihsel arka planı incelenerek onun hangi felsefi soruları devraldığı gösterilmiştir. Daha sonra Russell'ın söz konusu sorulara düşünce hayatı boyunca nasıl açıklamalar getirdiği sergilenmiş ve bu açıklamalar doğrultusunda biçimlenen Russell felsefesinin çağdaş dönemde nasıl bir konumu olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Böylece Russell'ın felsefesinin ne türden bir metametafizik varsaydığı belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this thesis is to reveal the influence, originality, and the contemporary relevance of Bertrand Russell's metaphysics. To this end the problem of reference in the context of judgment in Bertrand Russell's philosophy has been taken into consideration. In this regard, the relation between propositions, parts of the propositions and mind-independent reality is analyzed. Relying on an exploration of the historical background of Russell's views, the philosophical questions Russell has undertaken are clarified. Then, the explanations put forward by Russell to the aforementioned questions throughout his career have been presented. The position occupied by Russell's philosophy shaped in line with these explanations in the contemporary philosophy is revealed. In the end the kind of metametaphysics assumed by Russell's philosophy is clarified.
