Özet
Bu çalışma turist rehberlerinin etik davranışlarının turist tatmini, tekrar ziyaret etme ve tavsiye etme eğilimleri üzerindeki etkiyi ortaya çıkarma ve bu etki üzerinde cinsiyetin düzenleyici bir role sahip olup olmadığını keşfetmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın bir diğer amacı ise, turist rehberlerinin etik davranışlarının turistler üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymak, turist rehberi şikâyetlerinde en çok şikâyet alan bu konunun aslında sahip olduğu büyük değeri altını çizmek ve turist rehberliği meslek etiği çalışmalarının artırılması gerektiğini vurgulamaktır. Çalışma, oldukça az çalışılmış bu konunun ehemmiyetini ortaya koyması ve turist rehberlerinin etik davranışlarının etkilerine dikkat çekmesi açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda turist rehberlerinin etik davranışlarının turist tatmini, tekrar ziyaret etme ve tavsiye etme eğilimlerine etkisinde cinsiyetin rolünü belirleyebilmek amacı ile bir model önerisi sunulmuştur. Oluşturulan modelde bulunan değişkenleri ölçebilmek için farklı araştırmacılar tarafından, daha önceden geliştirilen ölçekler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Kapadokya Bölgesini ziyaret eden yerli ve yabancı turistler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın evreninin geniş olması sebebi ile araştırmada tesadüfi örneklem yöntemlerinden basit tesadüfi örneklem yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma nicel araştırma tekniği kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Verilerin elde edilmesinde anket yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmaya 462 adet yerli turist, 448 adet yabancı turist olmak üzere toplam 910 turist katılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler Basit Doğrusal Regresyon ve Düzenleyici Değişken analizlerine tabii tutulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular turist rehberlerinin etik davranışlarının turist endeksli tatmin, tur endeksli tatmin, tekrar ziyaret etme ve tavsiye etme eğilimi üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca turist rehberi endeksli tatminin ve tur endeksli tatminin de tekrar ziyaret etme ve tavsiye etme eğilimlerine etkisi de çalışmanın bulguları arasındadır. Bir diğer önemli bulgu ise turist rehberlerinin etik davranışlarının tatmin ve davranışsal eğilimler üzerindeki etkilerinde cinsiyetin düzenleyicilik rolünün bulunmasıdır. Sonuç olarak turist rehberlerinin etik davranışları turistlerin, turist rehberlerinden ve turdan tatmin olmasını etkilemektedir. Turist rehberinden ve turdan tatmin olan turistin tekrar ziyaret etme ve çevresine destinasyonu tavsiye etmek istediğini söylemek mümkündür. Turist rehberlerinin etik davranışlarının etkileri üzerinde cinsiyet düzenleyici rol oynamaktadır. Kadın turistlerin erkek turistlere oranla etik davranışlardan daha çok tatmin olduğu ve davranışsal eğilimlerini de bu doğrultuda yönlendirdiği tespit edilmiştir.

This study was prepared to reveal the effect of the ethical behaviors of tourist guides on tourist satisfaction, revisit and recommendation tendencies and to explore whether gender has a moderator role on this effect. Another aim of the study is to reveal the effect of the ethical behaviors of tourist guides on tourists, to underline the great value of this subject, which is the most complained about tourist guide complaints, and to emphasize that the studies on tourist guiding professional ethics should be increased. The study is of great importance in terms of revealing the significance of this little-studied subject and drawing attention to the effects of the ethical behaviors of tourist guides. For these purposes, a model proposal has been presented in order to determine the role of gender in the effect of tourist guides' ethical behavior on tourist satisfaction, revisit and recommendation tendencies. Previously developed scales were used by different researchers to measure the variables in the created model. The population of the research consists of domestic and foreign tourists visiting the Cappadocia Region. Due to the large population of the research, the simple random sampling method, one of the random sampling methods, was used in the research. The research was prepared using the quantitative research technique. The survey method was used to obtain the data. A total of 910 tourists, including 462 domestic tourists and 448 foreign tourists, participated in the research. The obtained data were subjected to Simple Linear Regression and Moderatory Variable analyses. The findings show that the ethical behaviors of tourist guides have a significant effect on tour guide-indexed satisfaction, tour-indexed satisfaction, revisit and recommendation intention. In addition, the effects of tourist guide-indexed satisfaction and tour-indexed satisfaction on revisit and recommendation tendencies are among the findings of the study. Another important finding is that gender has a moderator role in the effects of tourist guides' ethical behaviors on satisfaction and behavioral tendencies. As a result, the ethical behaviors of the tourist guides affect the satisfaction of the tourists with the tour guides and the tour. It is possible to say that the tourist who is satisfied with the tour guide and the tour wants to visit again and recommend the destination to his/her surroundings. Gender plays a moderatory role on the effects of the ethical behavior of tourist guides. It has been determined that female tourists are more satisfied with ethical behaviors than male tourists and they direct their behavioral tendencies in this direction.
