Özet
Kur'ân-ı Kerîm insanlığa rehber olması sebebiyle gönderilmiş son kutsal kitaptır. Asırlar boyunca istinsah edilmiş, bezenmiş ve yazıldığı bölgelerin sanat zevkine ışık tutmuştur. İncelenmiş olan mushaf TİEM'de bulunan 247 envanter numaralı eserdir. Safevi Dönemi'nde Şiraz'da üretilmiştir. Safevi Dönemi hem İran hem de İslam sanatları içinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Şiraz ise en geniş kapsamlı müzehhep eserlerin üretildiği bir bölge olmuştur. Eserin hattatı Abdülkadir b. Abdülvehhap bin Şahmîr el-Hüseynî'dir. Müzehhibi bilinmemektedir. İncelenen eser çift sayfa zahriye ve serlevha sayfası, surebaşları, hâtime sayfası, falname sayfası ve mushaf güllerinden oluşmaktadır. Altın, lacivert, sülyen, kızıl kahve, yeşil, mavinin yoğunlukta kullanımıyla döneminin tezhip anlayışının renkliliğine ışık tutmaktadır. Eser metni dört ana başlık içermektedir. İlk kısım Safevi tarihine, dönemin sanat anlayışına ve kitap sanatlarının gelişimine ışık tutmaktadır. İkinci kısım da musfahlardaki tezhipli bölümler yer alır ve üçüncü kısım da incelemiş olduğum TİEM 247 Nolu eserin tezyini yönden analizi fotoğraflarla belgelenmiş, motif ve desenlerin daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için çizimlerle desteklenmiştir. Tezin son kısmında ise incelediğim eserde yer alan renk ve motif tarzından yola çıkarak özgün bir eser ortaya konmaktadır. Analiz edilen ve hazırlanan eserlerle ilgili sonuç bölümünde değerlendirme yapılarak tez tamamlanmıştır.

Quran is the last book sent by God to guide humanity. It has been copied and embellished for centuries while it has lighted the way for aesthetic appreciation. The mushaf examined is the work with inventory number 247 in TİEM (Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts). It was produced in the Safavid period in Shiraz. The Safavid period has an essential role in Persian and Islamic Arts, while Shiraz is one of the critical regions where the most far-reaching gilt (müzehhep) works have been produced. The calligrapher of the work is Abdülkadir b. Abdülvehhap bin Şahmîr el-Hüseynî. The illuminator (müzehhip) of the work is not known. The work examined consists of a double-paged zahriye and headline page, an epilogue, falname (fortune-telling page) and mushaf roses. Mainly used colors of gold, navy blue, red lead, red-brown, green and blue reflect the variegation regarding the understanding of illumination (tezhip) of the time. The text of the work includes four main titles. The first one reveals the Safavid period, the sense of the art of the relevant period and the progress of book arts. The second introduces the illuminated parts in mushafs, while the third covers the analysis of the work examined with TİEM inventory number 247 in terms of ornamentation. The analysis is documented with photographs and supported with drawings so that the patterns and designs can be better understood. The last part of the thesis introduces an original work of art, inspired by the colors and designs in the work examined in this thesis.
