Özet
İşsizlik gelişmiş veya az gelişmiş ülke ayırt etmeksizin küresel olarak yaşanan ve tüm toplumları etkileyen bir sorundur. Bütün toplumlar geçmişten bugüne işsizlik sorununu çözmek için yollar aramış ve bu amaçla politikalar geliştirmiştir. Türkiye'de ise işsizlik sorunu geçmişten beri karşı karşıya olduğumuz ciddi bir problemdir. Özellikle son zamanlarda yaşanan savaşlar ve dünya çapında yaşanan yeni koronavirüs salgını ile bu sorun daha da ileri boyutlara ulaşmıştır. Tüm bunların sonucu olarak bireyler maddi anlamda gelir kaybına uğrarken psikolojik açıdan da dışlanmaya uğrayarak bu süreci daha zor atlatmaktadırlar. Nitekim işsizlik sosyal dışlanmanın hem bir nedeni hem de bir boyutudur. Bu tezin temel amacı işsizliğin ve sosyal dışlanmanın derinlemesine ele alınması, işsizliğin ekonomik ve sosyal boyutunun ölçülmesi ve bireylerin işsizlik sonucu yaşadığı sosyal dışlanma karşısında ne derece etkilendiklerini tespit etmektir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde işgücü piyasaları, istihdam ve işsizliğe ilişkin temel kavramlar yer almaktadır. İkinci bölümde sosyal dışlanma kavramı, ortaya çıkışı, unsurları ve sosyal dışlanmanın işsizlik ile bağlantısı ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise Yozgat ilinde işsizliğin sosyal dışlanma boyutuna dair bir alan araştırmasına yer verilmiştir. Çeşitli yaş ve eğitim düzeyine sahip olan bireylerle yaşadıkları işsizlik ve bunu sosyal dışlanma boyutuna ilişkin görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel yöntem tercih edilmiş, veriler derinlemesine görüşmeler aracılığıyla derlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda işsiz bireylerin ailede ve toplumda yaşadıkları ekonomik, psiko-sosyal ve siyasal dışlanmalarına, bunların birey ve yakın çevresi üzerindeki etkilerine ilişkin bulgular elde edilmiştir.

Unemployment is a problem that is experienced globally and affects all societies, regardless of the developed or undeveloped country. All societies have sought ways to solve the unemployment problem from past to present and developed policies for this purpose. In Turkey, the unemployment problem is a serious problem that we have faced since the past. Especially with the recent wars and the new coronavirus outbreak worldwide, this problem has reached even further dimensions. As a result of all these, while individuals suffer from financial loss of income, they are psychologically excluded and overcome this process more difficultly. As a matter of fact, unemployment is both a cause and a dimension of social exclusion. The main purpose of this thesis is to deal with unemployment and social exclusion in depth, to measure the economic and social dimensions of unemployment and to determine to what extent individuals are affected by the social exclusion they experience as a result of unemployment. In the first part of the study, basic concepts related to labor markets, employment and unemployment are included. In the second part, the concept of social exclusion, its emergence, its elements and the connection of social exclusion with unemployment are discussed. In the third and last section, a field research on the social exclusion dimension of unemployment in Yozgat province is included. Interviews were conducted with individuals of various ages and educational levels about the unemployment they experienced and the social exclusion dimension. Qualitative method was preferred in the research and the data were compiled through in-depth interviews. As a result of the research, findings related to the economic, psycho-social and political exclusion of unemployed individuals in the family and society, and their effects on the individual and indivudal's close environment were obtained.
