Özet
Araştırmamızla, sosyal bilgiler eğitiminde öğrencilerin aktif rol almalarını sağlamak temel hedef olarak alındı. Bu süreçte öğrenmenin yalnız sınıf ortamında ya da okulda değil, okul dışındaki ortamlarda da gerçekleşebileceği ve öğrencilerin bilgiye ulaşma noktasında bilinçli ve istendik şekilde, yaşantılar yoluyla bilimsel yönlerinin gelişebileceği gözlemlenmek istendi. Süreçle birlikte ve süreç sonunda müzeler hakkında farkındalık oluşturması, eğitimsel perspektifte ve özellikle sosyal bilgiler dersi açısından müzelerin önemli bir yapıya sahip olduğunun farkına varılması, öğrencilere eğitim hakkında yeni beceriler kazandırmak hedeflendi. Bu çalışmada 2X2'lik split-plot karışık desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın nicel kısmında deney ve kontrol grupları üzerinde bağımlı ve bağımsız değişken ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Nitel kısmında ise yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını, 2020-2021 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Gaziantep merkezde bulunan bir devlet okulundaki 50 7.sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın nicel verileri SPSS 22.00 programı ile analiz edilmiş, çalışmanın araştırma sorularına cevap aramak için Shapiro-Wilk normallik testi ve çarpıklık (skewness) hesaplaması yapılmıştır. Nitel veriler ise betimsel analiz yöntemi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Türk-İslam medeniyetinde yetişen bilginlerin bilimsel gelişme sürecine katkılarını tartışır kazanımı temel alınarak uygulamadan bir hafta önce deney ve kontrol grubuna ön testler yapılmış daha sonra müfredata bağlı kalınarak sınıfta öğretim etkinliği uygulanmıştır. Deney grubuyla ek olarak müze gezisi etkinliği gerçekleştirilmiştir. Daha sonra iki gruba da son test uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın son aşamasında 8 öğrenci ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme gerçekleşmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda sosyal bilgiler dersine yönelik okul dışı öğrenme ortamlarından, müze eğitiminin deney grubundaki öğrencilerin ders başarı düzeyini geliştirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundan elde edilen veriler, öğrencilerin müze eğitimi ve etkisine ilişkin düşüncelerini ortaya koyması açısından önemli sonuçlar ortaya koymaktadır.

With our research, the main goal was to enable students to take an active role in social studies education. n this process, it was desired to observe that learning can take place not only in the classroom or school, but also in environments outside the school, and that the scientific aspects of students can develop consciously and willingly through experiences at the point of accessing information. It was aimed to raise awareness about museums together with and at the end of the process, to realize that museums have an important structure in terms of educational perspective and especially in terms of social studies course, and to provide students with new skills about education. In this study, a 2X2 split-plot mixed pattern was used. n the quantitative part of the study, dependent and independent variable measurements were made on the experimental and control groups. In the qualitative part, semi-structured interview technique was applied. The participants of the research are 50 7th grade students in a public school in the center of Gaziantep in the 2020-2021 academic year. The quantitative data of the study were analyzed with the SPSS 22.00 program, and the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and skewness calculation were performed to find answers to the research questions of the study. Qualitative data were evaluated with descriptive analysis method. Based on the achievement of discussing the contributions of the scholars who grew up in the Turkish-Islamic civilization to the scientific development process, pre-tests were given to the experimental and control groups one week before the application, and then a teaching activity was applied in the classroom by adhering to the curriculum. In addition, a museum tour activity was carried out with the experimental group. Afterwards, the post-test was applied to both groups. In the last stage of the research, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 8 students. As a result of the research, it was determined that museum education, which is one of the out-of-school learning environments for the social studies course, improved the course success level of the students in the experimental group. In addition, the data obtained from the semi-structured interview form reveal important results in terms of revealing the students' thoughts on museum education and its impact.
