Özet

Bu araştırmanın hedefi, nitelikli ve iyi eğitim almış, iyi insan ve iyi yurttaş yetiştirmek olan okullarda, öğrencilerin okul aidiyetini etkileyen, değişkenlerin neler olduğunu tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın grubu; 2020-2021 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı, Mardin ilinin Kızıltepe ilçesinde, Kızıltepe Spor Lisesinde öğrenim gören 80 öğrenci ve Kızıltepe Fen Lisesinde öğrenim gören 80 öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 160 öğrencinin, 87'si erkek, 73'ü kadındır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin okula aidiyet duygu düzeylerini ve fiziksel aktivitelerini belirlemek için veri toplama aracı olarak“Kişisel Bilgi Formu,”ve iki ölçek kullanılmıştır. İlk ölçeğimiz, Goodenow (1993) tarafından geliştirilmiş ve Sarı (2015) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanmış 18 maddeden oluşan ve 5'li Likert tipindeki“Okula Aidiyet Duygusu Ölçeği (The Psychological Sense of School Membership Scale)”kullanılmıştır. İkinci ölçeğimiz ise Fiziksel Aktivite Yeterliği Ölçeği, (Campbell ve diğerleri, 2016) 5 boyut ve 26 maddeden (Okulda: 6 madde, Ulaşımda: 3 madde, Ev içi: 5 madde, Boş zaman ve rekreasyon: 6 madde, Okul içi gezinti ve ulaşımda: 6 madde) oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada; elde edilen verilerin sayısal değerlerle ifade edilebilmesi için, veriler bilgisayar ortamına aktarılarak, SPSS 24.0 paket programı yardımıyla istatistiksel analizleri yapılmıştır Örneklemin, demografik değişkenlere göre dağılımını ortaya koymak amacıyla frekans, ortalama, standart sapma ve yüzdelik hesaplamaları yapılmıştır. Verilerin ilişki düzeylerini belirlemek için normal dağılıma uymadığından non- parametrik testlerden Sperman Sıra Farkları Korelasyon Katsayısı uygulanmıştır. Verilerin iki bağımsız grup ortalamaları arasında karşılaştırmalar için Mann-Whitney U testi, ikiden fazla grup ortalamalarının analizinde Kruskal-Wallis H testi ve ilişki düzeylerini uygulanıp, İstatistiksel anlamlılık düzeyine 0.05 hata payı ile bakılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; okula aidiyet duygusu ile fiziksel aktivitenin alt boyutlarından“ulaşımda fiziksel aktivite”arasında negatif yönde zayıf bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Fiziksel aktivite ölçeğinin diğer alt boyutları ile okula aidiyet arasında herhangi bir anlamlı ilişkiye rastlanmamıştır.

The aim of this study is to determine the variables that affect the school belonging of students in schools whose aim is to raise qualified and well-educated good people and good citizens. Research group; A total of 160 students, 87 of whom are male and 73 are female, including 80 students studying at Kızıltepe Sports High School, and 80 students studying at Kızıltepe Science High School, in Kızıltepe district of Mardin province affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the 2020-2021 academic year. In the study,“Personal Information Form”and two scales were used as data collection tools to determine students' sense of school belonging and physical activities. Our first scale was“The Psychological Sense of School Membership Scale”which is consisting of 18 items and a 5-point Likert type developed by Goodenow (1993) and adapted to Turkish by Sarı (2015). Our second scale was“Physical Activity Competence Scale (Campbell et al., 2016)”which is consists of 5 dimensions and 26 items (At school: 6 items, Transportation: 3 items, Home: 5 items, Leisure and recreation: 6 items, In school travel and transportation: 6 items). In the research; in order to express the obtained data with numerical values, the data were transferred to the computer environment and statistical analysis was made with the help of SPSS 24.0 software. Frequency, mean, standard deviation and percentage calculations were made in order to reveal the distribution of the sample according to demographic variables. Sperman Rank Differences Correlation Coefficient, one of the nonparametric tests, was applied to determine the correlation levels of the data. The Mann-Whitney U test was used for comparisons between the means of two independent groups of the data, and the Kruskal-Wallis H test and correlation levels were used in the analysis of the means of more than two groups, and the statistical significance level was evaluated with an error margin of 0.05. As a result; A weak negative relationship was found between the sense of school belonging and“physical activity in transportation”, which is one of the sub-dimensions of physical activity. No significant relationship was found between the other sub-dimensions of the physical activity scale and sense of school belonging.
