Özet
Bu tez çalışması; kültürel eksende üretim yapan sanatçıların kendi zamanlarının dışına çıkarak geçmişe ait konuları ve nesneleri, sanat yapıtına dönüşüm süreçlerini, nesne ve bellek üzerinden ele almaktadır. Geçmişin anıları üzerinden gerçekleşen sanat eserleri şimdi içerisinde geçmişi yansıtmaktadırlar. Çeşitli tetikleyiciler ile uyarılan bellekte meydana gelen sanat yaratımı, imgeleri, nesneleri, mekânları, geçmişe ait hatıraları, sanat yapıtı üzerinden vermektedir. Sanatçının kendi kültürü üzerinden kurguladığı sanat eseri, kültürel kodları üzerinde barındırmaktadır. Bu tez bağlamında incelenen sanat yapıtları, içerdikleri anlam ve ilettikleri mesajlarla, toplumu ilgilendiren sosyal ve evrensel konulara yönelik içerikler sunmakta, yeni türden hatırlatıcı öğeler yaratmaktadırlar. Çağımızın sorunları olan göç, kimlik, sömürge, ötekileştirme, kadın sorunsalı, çevre sorunları gibi konulara dikkat çekmek için evrensel sanatçılar, bu konuların dışa aktarılmasında kültüre ait nesneleri kullanmaktadırlar. Evrensel konulara ek olarak alt kültürlerin kaybolmasına dikkat çekmek için sadece o kültüre atıfta bulunacak çalışmalar da yapmaktadırlar. Bu tez çalışmasında kültürel nesneye odaklanan sanatçıların, kendi belleği ile birlikte nesnenin belleğinden referans alarak kendi kültür ve kimliklerini korumada bir dil oluştururken, ortak bir meselenin varlığını nasıl ifade ettikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın kaynağını, çok yönlü üretim biçimleri sonucu toplumsal belleğin sanat ekseninde yeniden canlandırılması ve hatırlatılması gibi kavramlar oluşturmaktadır. Tezde çok yönlü sanatsal üretim biçimlerinin çağdaş sanat ortamında disiplinler arası sanat anlayışı ile anlam değişikliğine uğrayarak yeniden nasıl üretildiğine dikkat çekilmesi hedeflenmiştir.

This thesis deals with the subjects and objects of the past, and the processes of transformation into a work of art, going beyond the time of the artists who produce on the cultural axis through objects and memory. The works of art that are realized through the memories of the past now reflect the past in them. The creation of art, which occurs in the memory stimulated by various triggers, gives images, objects, places, and memories of the past through the work of art. The work of art, which the artist constructs over his own culture, contains cultural codes. The works of art examined in this thesis provide content for social and universal issues concerning society with the meanings they contain and the messages they convey and create new of reminders. To draw attention to issues of our age such as migration, identity, colonization, marginalization, women's problems, and environmental problems, universal artists use cultural objects in the conveyance of these issues. Adjacent to universal issues, artists also draw attention to the disappearance of subcultures by making works that will only refer to that culture. This thesis examined how the artists who focused on the cultural object expressed the existence of a common issue while creating a language to protect their own culture and identity by taking reference from the object's memory and as their memory. The source of the work consists of the concepts such as revitalizing and reminding the social memory on the axis of art as a result of these versatile production forms. The thesis aims to draw attention to how versatile artistic production forms are by changing their meanings with an interdisciplinary understanding of art in the contemporary art environment.
