Özet
Teknolojik gelişmelerin etkisiyle günlük yaşamın ayrılmaz bir parçası olan teknolojik araç ve gereçler eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerinde de aktif olarak kullanılmaktadır. Son yıllarda kullanım alanı gittikçe yaygınlaşan hologram teknolojilerinin eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerinde kullanılarak bazı değişkenler üzerinde etkisi olup olmadığına yönelik çalışmaların sayısında bir artış meydana gelmiştir. Fen eğitimi, Tıp eğitimi, Mühendislik Eğitimi, Arkeoloji, Mimarlık eğitimi gibi birçok konuda hologram teknolojilerinden aktif olarak faydalanmaya başlanmıştır. Bu araştırma ortaokul Sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde hologram içerikli uygulamaların akademik başarı ve tutum üzerine etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma ilgili literatür incelendiğinde daha önce çalışılmamış bir konu temelinde hazırlanan alanında ilk çalışma özelliğini taşımaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında Sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde hologram içeriklerinin öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve tutumlarına etkisi tespit etmek, süreç içerisinde öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler dersinde kullanılan hologram içeriklerine yönelik görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma desenini, karma yöntem araştırma desenlerinden gömülü (içe yerleşik) karma desen oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen nicel verilerin nitel veriler ile desteklenmesi amacı ile gömülü karma desen seçilmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel kısmında veriler ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılarak, nitel kısmında ise deney grubuna hologram içeriklerinin uygulanması sebebiyle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada uygulanan deneysel desende, akademik başarı ve tutum bağımlı değişkenlerdir. Bağımsız değişken ise, araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak Sosyal bilgiler dersine yönelik hazırlanan hologram içerikleridir. Araştırma Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı Bartın ilinde bulunan bir ortaokulda 7. sınıf düzeyindeki 20 deney ve 20 kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 40 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma başlangıcında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, deneysel işlem öncesinde Akademik Başarı Testi, öğrencilerin derse yönelik tutumlarını ortaya koymak amacıyla“İlköğretim 2. Kademe Öğrencilerinin Sosyal Bilgiler Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği”ile araştırmacı tarafından uzman görüşü alınarak hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Deneysel çalışmada deney grubunu hologramla zenginleştirilmiş öğretim, kontrol grubuna ise programda önerilen öğretim gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen nicel veriler tek faktörlü kovaryans analizi (ANCOVA) ile, nitel veriler ise içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda Sosyal bilgiler dersinde uygulanan hologram içeriklerinin öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve tutumları üzerine olumlu etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcılar ile gerçekleştirilen görüşmelerde Sosyal bilgiler dersinde kullanılan hologram içeriklerinin derse yönelik ilgi, istek ve merakı artırdığı, dersin görsel açıdan daha zengin hale gelmesinde etkili olduğu ve dersi daha eğlenceli hale getirdiği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca katılımcıların hologram içeriklerinin Sosyal bilgiler dersi dışında diğer derslerde de kullanılmasına yönelik istekli olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

With the effect of technological developments, technological tools and equipment, which are an integral part of daily life, are also actively used in education and training activities. In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of studies on whether or not the hologram technologies, which have become increasingly widespread, have been used in educational activities and whether they have an effect on some variables. Hologram technologies have been actively used in many subjects such as science education, medical education, engineering education, archeology, and architectural education. This research aims to reveal the effects of hologram applications on academic achievement and attitude in secondary school social studies teaching. When the relevant literature is examined, the research has the feature of being the first study in its field, which was prepared on the basis of a subject that has not been studied before. Within the scope of the research, mixed method was used in order to determine the effects of hologram contents on the academic achievement and attitudes of the students in social studies teaching and to reveal the students' views on the hologram contents used in the social studies course. The research design consists of the embedded (embedded) mixed design from the mixed method research designs. Embedded mixed design was chosen in order to support the quantitative data obtained with qualitative data. In the quantitative part of the research, the data were obtained by using a quasi-experimental design with pre-test-post-test control group, and in the qualitative part, by using semi-structured interview, due to the application of hologram contents to the experimental group. In the experimental design applied in the research, academic achievement and attitude are dependent variables. The independent variable is the hologram contents prepared for the Social Studies course in accordance with the purpose of the research. The research was carried out with a total of 40 students, 20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group, at a secondary school in the province of Bartın, which is affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. At the beginning of the research, the Personal Information Form, the Academic Achievement Test before the experimental procedure, the“Attitude Scale of Primary School 2nd Level Students Towards Social Studies Course”and a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher after taking expert opinion were used to reveal the attitudes of the students towards the course. In the experimental study, hologram-enriched instruction was given to the experimental group, and to the control group, the instruction suggested in the program was carried out. Quantitative data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed by single factor analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), and qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was determined that the hologram contents applied in the Social Studies course had a positive effect on the academic achievement and attitudes of the students. In the interviews conducted with the participants, it was concluded that the hologram contents used in the Social Studies lesson increased the interest, desire and curiosity towards the lesson, were effective in making the lesson more visually rich and made the lesson more fun. In addition, it was concluded that the participants were willing to use the hologram contents in other courses besides the Social Studies course.
