Özet
“Karia Bölgesi Hellenistik Dönem Mezarları”adlı bu çalışmada, Karia bölgesinin Hellenistik Dönem'e ait mezarları incelenerek dönemin mezar tipolojisinin bir bütün olarak değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda, tezin üç başlık altında incelenmesine karar verilmiştir. İlk bölümde, Karia bölgesinin siyasi yapısı ve coğrafyası hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Başta antik kaynaklar olmak üzere literatür taraması yapılarak bölgenin sosyokültürel yapısının aktarılması hedeflenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Karia bölgesinin Hellenistik Dönem'e kadar mezar tiplerinin gelişimi dönemsel olarak incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm, tezin ana konusunu oluşturan Hellenistik Dönem'e ait mezar tiplerinin sınıflandırılmasıyla oluşturulmuştur. Mezar tipleri örneklerle anlatılmış, elde edilen veriler sonuç bölümünde değerlendirilmiştir.

In this study named“Hellenistic Period Tombs of Caria Region”, it is aimed to evaluate the tomb typology of the period as a whole by examining the tombs belonging to the Hellenistic Period of the Caria region. In this context, this thesis has been examined under three headings. In the first part, information about the political structure and geography of the Caria region is given. It is aimed to transfer the socio-cultural structure of the region by conducting a literature review, especially ancient sources. In the second part, the development of tomb types of the Carian region up to the Hellenistic Period is examined periodically. The third part is formed by classifying the types of tombs belonging to the Hellenistic Period, which constitute the main subject of the thesis. The types of graves are explained with examples and the obtained data were evaluated in the conclusion section.
