Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı psikolojik danışman adaylarının umutsuzluk düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada temel amaç psikolojik danışman adaylarında öz-belirleme kuramında temel psikolojik ihtiyaçlar olarak kavramsallaştırılan özerklik, yeterlik ve ilişkili olma ihtiyaçlarının doyumu ile umutsuzluk düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesidir Yöntem: Örneklem Kâzım Karabekir Eğitim Fakültesinde Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Ana Bilim Dalında öğrenim gören 300 Öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırmada belirlenen değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler inceleneceğinden dolayı korelasyonel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Değişkenler için betimleyici istatistik ve regresyon analizi, bağımsız gruplar için t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi ve Ki-Kare Bağımsızlık Testi yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada spss analiz programından faydalanılmıştır. Çalışmada, Kişisel Bilgi Formu“Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği”ve“İhtiyaç Doyumu Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma sonuçlarına göre şu bulgular elde edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin Beck umutsuzluk ölçeğinden almış oldukları puanlarla ihtiyaç doyumları arasında negatif ilişki bulunmuştur. Buna göre ihtiyaç doyumları puanı arttıkça umutsuzluk puanı anlamlı şekilde azalmaktadır. Beck Umutsuzluk ölçeği toplam puanlarına verilen cevapların cinsiyetler bakımından farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen Bağımsız Gruplar t testi sonucunda Beck Umutsuzluk ölçeği toplam puanlarına verilen cevapların cinsiyet bakımından anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kadınların umutsuzluk düzeylerinin erkeklerden anlamlı düzeyde daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür. Beck Umutsuzluk ölçeği toplam puanlarına verilen cevapların sınıf düzeyleri bakımından anlamlı olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla uygulanan Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi sonucunda anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği toplam puan ortalamalarının, mesleklerini benimseme durumlarına göre anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığını incelemek amacıyla yapılan tek yönlü varyans analizi sonuçları incelendiğinde gruplar arası anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmektedir. Mesleki benimseme durumu yüksek olanların umutsuzluk düzeylerinin, orta düzey benimseyenler ve benimsemeyenlerden daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuçlar: Sonuç olarak Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Ana Bilim dalı öğrencilerinin umutsuzluk düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenler tarafından incelendiği ve mesleki bilgi kazanarak Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık öğrencilerinin değerlendirilmesi yapılarak, umutsuzluk düzeyinin belirlendiği ve etkileyen faktörlerin tanımlandığı bu çalışmada; İhtiyaç doyumunun alt boyutları ve mesleki kabul değişkenlerinin umutsuzluk ile olan ilişkileri alanyazınla paralellik gösterirken; cinsiyet değişkeni umutsuzlukla ilişkisi alanyazın çalışmalarının bazılarıyla paralel bazılarıyla da farklı sonuçlar ortaya koymuştur. Sınıf düzeyi değişkeni ise alanyazın çalışmalarından farklı sonuçlar ortaya koymuştur.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between hopelessness levels, gender, autonomy, competence, close relationships, professional acceptance, personality suitability of the department and class level of the students studying in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. The sample of the research is Erzurum Atatürk University, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department students. Method: The sample consists of 300 students studying in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education. In this study, correlational research design was used because the relationships between the determined variables will be examined. Descriptive statistics and hierarchical regression, independent group t-test and one- way analysis of variance and Chi-Square Independence Test were performed for the variables. In this study, spss analysis program was used. Personal Information Form“Beck Hopelessness Scale”and“Need Satisfaction Scale”were used in the study. Findings: According to the results of the research, the following findings were obtained. A negative correlation was found between the students' scores on the Beck hopelessness scale and their need satisfaction. Accordingly, as the need satisfaction score increases, the hopelessness score decreases significantly. As a result of the Independent Groups t-test performed to determine whether the answers given to the Beck Hopelessness scale total scores differ in terms of genders, it was determined that the responses given to the Beck Hopelessness scale total scores made a significant difference in terms of gender. It was observed that women's hopelessness levels were significantly lower than men's. As a result of the One-Way Analysis of Variance, which was applied to determine whether the answers given to the Beck Hopelessness scale total scores were significant in terms of grade levels, it was revealed that there was no significant difference. According to the research findings, when the results of the one-way analysis of variance, which was conducted to examine whether there is a significant difference between the Beck Hopelessness Scale total score averages and their professional adoption, are examined, it is seen that there is a significant difference between the groups. The hopelessness levels of those with high professional adoption were higher than those of moderate adopters and non-adopters. was found to be low. Conclusions: As a result, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. In this study, in which students' hopelessness levels were examined by various variables, the relationships between autonomy, competence, close relationships and professional acceptance variables with hopelessness were parallel to the literature; The relationship between gender variable and hopelessness has shown parallel results with some of the literature studies and different results with others. The grade level variable revealed different results from the literature studies.
