Özet
Bu araştırmada Halk Eğitim Merkezlerinde görev alan eğitimcilerin yetişkinlere özgü verilen kurslarda kullanılan yöntem ve tekniklere dair görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak nicel ve nitel yöntemler birbirlerini destekler nitelikte sunularak karma yöntem araştırması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel veriler elde edilip sonrasında nicel verilerden faydalanma yoluna gidildiğinden bu araştırma keşfedici sıralı karma yöntem desenindedir. Buna göre; Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı Hayat Boyu Öğrenme Genel Müdürlüğünün resmi internet sayfasında yer alan yetişkinlere yönelik genel kurs tipi ve mesleki ve teknik kurs tipi öğretim programlarında eğitimcilere önerilen yetişkin eğitimi yöntem ve teknikleri incelenmiştir. Bunun için son üç yıl (2019, 2020, 2021) içerisinde onaylanan öğretim programları içerisinde yetişkinlere uygun olan 615 öğretim programı, nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan doküman incelemesi deseni kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın nicel boyutunda ise betimsel yöntem kullanılmakla birlikte araştırma kesitsel tarama desenindedir. Araştırmanın nitel boyutu olan doküman incelemesinden elde edilen verilerle araştırmanın nicel boyutunda kullanılacak veri toplama aracı olan anket oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunun örneklemini Batı Karadeniz'in bir ilinde yer alan Halk Eğitim Merkezlerinde 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim akademik süreci güz döneminde eğitimci olarak görev alan basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiş 83 eğitimci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda katılımcılara anketin devamında açık uçlu sorular uygulanmıştır. Bu araştırmadan elde edilen bulgularda öğretim programlarında önerilen yöntem ve tekniklerin katılımcıların yöntem ve teknikleri kullanma eğilimine dair anketten elde edilen bulgularla benzerlik ve farklılıklar gösterdikleri görülmüştür. Eğitimcilerin yetişkin eğitimi yöntem ve tekniklerine dair görüşlerinin ağırlıklı olarak olumlu olduğu soncuna varılmıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to examine the views of the educators working in Public Education Centers on the methods and techniques used in adult-specific courses. In this study, mixed method research was used by presenting quantitative and qualitative methods in a way that supports each other in accordance with the purpose of the research. This research is in the exploratory sequential mixed method design, as qualitative data are obtained and then quantitative data is used in the research. According to this; Adult education methods and techniques recommended to educators in the general course type and vocational and technical course type education programs for adults on the official website of the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning affiliated with the Ministry of National Education were examined. For this, 615 curricula suitable for adults among the curricula approved in the last three years (2019, 2020, 2021) were analyzed using the document analysis design, one of the qualitative research designs. In the quantitative dimension of this study, the descriptive method is used, and the research is in a cross-sectional scanning design. A questionnaire, the data collection tool used in the quantitative dimension of the study, was created with the data obtained from the document review, which is the qualitative dimension of the research. The sample of the quantitative measurement of the study consists of 83 educators selected by simple random sampling method who worked as educators in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year in Public Education Centers located in a province of the Western Black Sea Region. In the qualitative aspect of the research, open-ended questions were applied to the participants in the continuation of the questionnaire. In the findings obtained from this research, it was seen that the methods and techniques suggested in the curriculum showed similarities and differences with the results obtained from the questionnaire regarding the tendency of the participants to use the methods and techniques. It was concluded that educators' views on adult education methods and techniques were primarily educators' views positive.
