Özet
Üretim işletmelerinde atıl kapasite önemli bir problemdir. Atıl kapasite, bir üretim biriminde mevcut olup kullanılmayan kapasitedir. Atıl kapasite çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı ortaya çıkabilir. İşçi devamsızlığı, yönetimin yetersiz ve yanlış kararlar alması ve doğal afetler atıl kapasite nedenlerindendir. Bu çalışmada örnek bir üretim işletmesindeki giriş istasyonunun kapasite kısıtı sebebiyle diğer istasyonlarda üretilemeyen ürünler için atıl kapasite problemi tanımlanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile üretim işletmelerinin kapasite kullanım oranlarını arttırmak için literatüre katkı sağlamak amaçlanmaktadır. Girdi değişkeni olarak endirekt giderler, direkt giderler, amortisman gideri, üretim miktarı, su ve enerji tüketim miktarı, makine çalışma saati, işçi çalışma saati, işçilik ücreti girilmiştir. Çıktı değişkeni olarak toplam maliyet, atıl kapasite maliyeti ve ek kâr elde edilmiştir. Literatürdeki çalışmalardan farklı olarak atıl kapasite problemi kaynak tüketim muhasebesi ve doğrusal programlama yöntemleriyle çözümlenmiştir. Kaynak tüketim muhasebesi yöntemi ile atıl kapasite maliyeti hesaplanmıştır. Doğrusal programlama yöntemi ile makine yatırımı senaryosunda elde edilebilecek ek kâr ve dışarıdan ürün tedariği senaryosunda oluşacak maliyet hesaplanmış ve senaryoların sonuçları yorumlanmıştır.

Idle capacity is an important problem in the production business. Idle capacity is the capacity of the device that is available in a production unit. Idle capacity arises for various reasons. Worker absenteeism, inadequate and wrong management decisions, and natural disasters are among the causes of idle capacity. In this example, the effect of capacity constraints at the entry station in a manufacturing enterprise is used as an idle capacity problem for products that cannot be produced at other stations. With this study, it is aimed to contribute to the literature in order to reduce the capacity utilization rates in the production economy. Indirect expenses, direct expenses, depreciation expenses, production amount, water and energy consumption amount, machine working hours, worker working hours, labor cost are entered as input variables. Total costs, idle capacity cost and additional profit were obtained as output variables. Unlike the studies in the literature, the idle capacity problem is solved by resource usage and execution programming methods. The idle capacity cost was calculated with the resource utilization accounting method. With the linear programming method, the additional profit that can be obtained in the estimation of the machinery investment and the cost calculation in the foreign product supply business were calculated and the results of the scenarios were interpreted.
