Özet

Bu araştırmada sanat eğitiminin özgül öğrenme güçlüğü olan bireylerin yaratıcı düşünme becerileri üzerindeki etkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön test son test kontrol gruplu deneysel model kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda Tokat iline bağlı Erbaa ilçesinde özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezinde destek eğitime devam eden 9-14 yaşları arasında olup özgül öğrenme güçlüğü tanısı olan öğrenciler çalışmaya katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Torrance Yaratıcı Düşünme Testi Şekilsel Form kullanılmıştır. Sanat eğitimi uygulamalarına başlamadan önce seçkisiz atama yoluyla oluşturulan 30 deney grubu öğrencisine ve 30 kontrol grubu öğrencisine ön test uygulanmıştır. Ön test uygulamasından sonra deney grubu öğrencilerine araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan sanat eğitimi programı haftada 2 saat olmak üzere toplam 8 hafta boyunca uygulanmıştır. Ardından deney ve kontrol grubuna son test uygulanmıştır. Torrance Yaratıcı Düşünme Testlerinden elde edilen veriler IBM SPSS Statistics 25 paket programı aracılığı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda özgül öğrenme güçlüğü olan öğrencilerin yaratıcı düşünme becerileri üzerinde sanat eğitiminin olumlu etkileri olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of art education on the creative thinking skills of individuals with specific learning disabilities. Experimental model with pretest posttest control group, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The study group was determined using purposive sampling method. In this context, students between the ages of 9-14 who were diagnosed with specific learning difficulties and continuing their supportive education in a special education and rehabilitation center in Erbaa district of Tokat province participated in the study. Torrance Test of Creative Thinking Figural Form was used as data collection tool in the research. Before starting the art education practices, pre-test was applied to 30 experimental group students and 30 control group students, who were formed by random assignment. After the pre-test application, the art education program prepared by the researcher was applied to the experimental group students for 2 hours a week, for a total of 8 weeks. Afterwards, the post-test was applied to the experimental and control groups. Data obtained from Torrance Test of Creative Thinking were analyzed by IBM SPSS Statistics 25 package program. As a result of the research, it has been determined that art education has positive effects on the creative thinking skills of students with specific learning disabilities.
