Özet
Çalışmamız adölesan idiopatik torakal skolyozlu bireylerde diyafram mobilizasyonunun solunum fonksiyonları, torakal morfoloji ve mobilite posterior kas zinciri fleksibilitesi üzerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla planlandı. Çalışmaya fizyoterapi kliniğinde tedavi görmekte olan 10-18 yaşlarındaki 40 birey katıldı. Katılımcılar schroth terapisti eşliğinde egzersizlerini yapan kontrol grubu (n=20) ve egzersizlere ek olarak diyafram mobilizasyonu ve göğüs kafesi derotasyon mobilizasyonu uygulanan manuel terapi grubu (n=20) olarak ikiye ayrıldı. Bireyler 4 hafta sürecek 6 seans süresince takip edildi ve manuel terapi grubunda her seans başında manuel uygulamalar yapılarak egzersizlere geçilirken, kontrol grubunda direkt olarak egzersizle başlandı. Bireylerin rotasyon ölçümleri skolyometre ile, solunum fonksiyonları spirometre ile tedaviye başlamadan önce, ilk seansta ve tedavi sonunda; yüzey topografi değerlendirmesi 3B yazılım programı ile, mobiliteleri inclinometreyle ve göğüs çevresi ölçümü ile, posterior kas zinciri esneklikleri otur ve uzan testi ile tedavi öncesinde ve sonunda değerlendirildi. Our study was planned to examine the effect of diaphragm mobilization on respiratory functions, thoracic morphology and mobility posterior muscle chain flexibility in individuals with adolescent idiopathic thoracic scoliosis. Forty individuals aged 10-18, who were being treated in the physiotherapy clinic, participated in the study. The participants were divided into two groups as the control group (n=20) who did the exercises in the presence of a Schroth therapist and the manual therapy group (n=20) in which diaphragm mobilization and rib cage derotation mobilization were applied in addition to the exercises. Individuals were followed up for 6 sessions that will last 4 weeks, and while in the manual therapy group, manual applications were made at the beginning of each session before exercises were started, while in the control group, exercise was done without any manual treatment. Trunk rotation of individuals were measured via scoliometer, respiratory functions measured via spirometry before starting the treatment, at the first session and at the end of the treatment; surface topography was evaluated with 3D software program, mobility was evaluated via inclinometer and chest circumference measurement, posterior muscle chain flexibility was evaluated with sit and reach test before and after treatment.
