This artical analises the 'fusion and expendation of the color in the plastic space' during by the history of arts and cultural beliefs of the civilizations. It aims to explore symbolic meanings of color, using upon scientific developments, cultural, geographical and belief systems in varios disiplines through specific examples. Colour and the light light which creates the perception of color; were the main devices that painters use in creating images through a process of abstraction, idealization and imitation of nature which embody perceptual impressions. Colour and light were two distinct concepts in art before the age of science. While artists were working on the relationship between the two, scientists were focused only on light. However, colour was to be the meeting ground for scientists and artists who seperately had been studying light for centuries. Following Newton's discovery, in the 19th century, colours began to be studied from the point of their perceptual and structural qualities and relations outside of art, in such theories had an impact on artistic practice. Colour is currently being used symbolically in art, it varies phsically in accordance with developments in technogy and new materials manufactured . Knowladge of art, previously described through various coloring techniques or brush strokes and form, in today's art; artificial resources and new techniques are included in expression as abstrac expressionist painters Jackson Pollock or Gerhard Richter who is painting by colors freely dropping, fusion or expendation on plastic spaces creates work of arts only symbolical value. Also, scientific devolopments on colour contributed to artists' understanding of colour; they also had been one of the factors that led the way to the evaluation of the visual regardless of form. From the old centuries till today, many techniques and beliefs on usage about color may changed but we can see all this procedure is related on the base of eachother and generally those bases are related on nature
