Özet
Geçmişten bu yana işletmeler, değişkenlik gösteren teknoloji, ekonomi, siyaset gibi dış faktörler altında varlıklarını sürdürebilmek ve rekabette öne geçmek adına organizasyonel süreçlerini geliştirme ve iyileştirme eğiliminde bulunmuşlardır. Bu doğrultuda işletmeler, geliştirdikleri süreçleri, yöntemleri ve yaklaşımları çeşitli yönetim sistemleri çerçevesinde yapılandırarak sürdürülebilir iyileşme ve başarı hedeflemişlerdir. Günümüzde de teknolojik paradigma dönüşümlerinin hızla yaşandığı bu dönemde, ürünlere olan talebin giderek bireyselleşmesi, kaynak verimliliğinin çok daha önemli hale gelmesi ve kısa ürün geliştirme sürelerinin gerekliliğinin tetiklediği endüstriyel dönüşüm süreci, yeni kritik teknolojilerin de gelişimiyle Endüstri 4.0 adıyla çerçevelendirilen yeni bir sanayi devrimine öncülük etmektedir. Geniş kapsamlı bir ekonomik ve teknolojik dönüşümün yaşandığı bu ortamda organizasyonlar, şartlara adapte olabilmek ve rekabette öne geçebilmek adına yönetim stratejilerine, sistemlerine ve yol haritalarına ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu çalışmada da bu yönetim sistemlerinden birisi olan Yalın Üretim Sistemi, Endüstri 4.0 dönüşümü ve teknolojik kavramlarıyla birlikte ele alınarak detaylı şekilde anlatılmış ve bu doğrultuda bir savunma sanayi işletmesinde uygulama çalışmasına yer verilmiştir.

Since the past, businesses have tended to develop and improve their organizational processes in order to survive and to stay ahead of the competition under external factors such as changing technology, economy and politics. In this direction, businesses have aimed at sustainable improvement and success by structuring the processes, methods and approaches they have developed within the framework of various management systems. In today's world, where technological paradigm shifts are experienced rapidly, the industrial transformation triggered by the increasing customization of the demand for products, rising importance of resource efficiency and the necessity of short product development times is leading a new industrial revolution framed by the name Industry 4.0 with the development of new critical technologies. In this environment where a wide-ranging economic and technological transformation is experienced, organizations need management strategies, systems and roadmaps in order to adapt to the conditions and stay ahead of the competition. In this study, Lean Production System, which is one of these management systems, is discussed in detail with the Industry 4.0 transformation and technological concepts, and in this context, an application study in a defense industry enterprise is included.
