Özet
Bu çalışma, yaratıcı drama yönteminin hemşirelik öğrencilerinin postmortem bakıma ilişkin bilgi ve beceri düzeylerine, öğrenme kalıcılığına ve eğitim yönteminden memnuniyetlerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini hemşirelik bölümünün üçüncü sınıf öğrencileri (N:202), örneklemini deney (35) ve kontrol grubu (35) olmak üzere 70 kişi oluşturmuştur. Öğrenciler gruplara rastgele atanmıştır. Postmortem bakım konu içeriği kontrol grubuna klasik eğitim yöntemi olan düz anlatım ve demonstrasyon teknikleriyle, deney grubuna ise yaratıcı drama yöntemi ile aktarılmıştır. Araştırma verileri; Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu, Postmortem Bakım Bilgi Testi, Postmortem Bakım Beceri Kontrol Listesi ve Eğitim Yöntemlerinden Memnuniyet Anketi aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Bu çalışmada tanımlayıcı analizler için sayı, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubunun bilgi, beceri, kalıcılık ve memnuniyet düzeylerinin karşılaştırılmasında Mann Whitney U Test, Bağımsız Örneklem t Testi, Wilcoxon Sıralı İşaretler testi kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının kendi içerisinde değerlendirilmesinde Tekrarlı Ölçümlerde Varyans Analizi kullanılmıştır. Anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Deney ve kontrol grubuna verilen postmortem bakım eğitiminin, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin postmortem bakıma ilişkin bilgi ve beceri düzeylerini geliştirmede etkin yöntemler olduğu görülmüştür (p<0.05). Deney grubunun postmortem bakıma ilişkin bilgi ve beceri düzeyleri, öğrenme kalıcılıkları ve eğitim yöntemlerinden memnuniyet düzeyleri kontrol grubundan daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0.05). Yaratıcı dramanın hemşirelik öğrencilerine verilen postmortem bakım eğitiminde klasik eğitim yöntemine göre daha etkili bir yöntem olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğrencilerin yaratıcı drama ile verilen eğitimden daha çok memnun olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yaratıcı drama postmortem bakım konu içeriğinin öğretilmesinde etkili bir yöntem olabilir.

This study was conducted to examine the effects of the creative drama method on the knowledge and skill levels of nursing students regarding postmortem care, their learning persistence and their satisfaction with the education method. The universe of the research consisted of third-year students (N:202) of the nursing department, and the sample consisted of 70 people, including the experimental (35) and control group (35). Students were randomly assigned to groups. The content of postmortem care was transferred to the control group with the classical education method of lecture and demonstration techniques, and to the experimental group with the creative drama method. Research data; It was collected through Descriptive Characteristics Form, Postmortem Care Knowledge Test, Postmortem Care Skills Checklist and Satisfaction Questionnaire with Training Methods. In this study, number, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used for descriptive analysis. Mann Whitney U Test, Independent Sample t Test and Wilcoxon Ordered Signs test were used to compare the knowledge, skills, permanence and satisfaction levels of the experimental and control groups. Analysis of Variance in Repeated Measurements was used to evaluate the experimental and control groups within themselves. The significance level was accepted as 0.05. Postmortem care training given to the experimental and control groups was found to be effective methods in improving the knowledge and skill levels of nursing students about postmortem care (p<0.05). It was determined that the knowledge and skill levels of the experimental group regarding postmortem care, their learning persistence and satisfaction with education methods were higher than the control group (p<0.05). It has been seen that creative drama is a more effective method than the classical education method in the postmortem care education given to nursing students. In addition, it was determined that the students were more satisfied with the education given with creative drama. Creative drama can be an effective method in teaching postmortem care subject content.
