Özet
KISA ÖZET Özel bir ERP Sisteminin Geliştirilmesi Hakan Akçalar Bu tezin amacı, pnömatik komponentleri konusunda üretim yapan bir firma için, firmada yer alan bütün operasyonları kapsayan özel bir endüstriyel üretim otomasyonu (ERP) geliştirmektir. Bu otomasyon, bir veri tabanı programı kullanarak, çok kullanıcılı bir bilgisayar ortamında geliştirilmiştir. Bilgisayar ortamında halihazırda bulunan işletme otomasyon programlan firma için uygun olmadığından, firmanın ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilecek şekilde geliştirilmiş bir otomasyon programı hazırlanması gerekmiştir. Bu program, içinde“iş planlaması ve takibi”ni de içerecek şekilde klasik MRP-II sistemi temel alınarak geliştirilmiştir. Piyasada hazır bulunan otomasyon uygulamaları incelenmiş ve, ya firmada uygulanmak için çok karmaşık, ya da firmada gerekli birtakım detayları yetersiz bulunmuştur. Firmaya özel bir otomasyon sistemi uygulanmadan önce, firmanın süregelen işlemleri incelenmiş, ve halen gerekli olan ve potansiyel olarak gerekli olabilecek işlemler, uygulamalar ve raporlar belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın faydalan arasında şunlan sayabiliriz: Firmanın halihazırdaki sistemden yeni bilgisayarlı ERP sistemine geçişi esnasındaki zorluklar en aza indirilmiştir; Firmada çalışan personelin yeni sistemi öğrenme ve adaptasyon süreleri gayet kısa olacaktır; Firmanın işlerliğinde bir verimlilik ve kesinlik artışı beklenmektedir.

ABSTRACT Design of a Custom Made ERP System by Hakan Akçalar The objective of this thesis is to develop an industrial manufacturing automation tool, an ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system specifically designed for a manufacturing company which produces pneumatic components. The aim is to completely cover all the operations which takes place in the company. We implemented this tool in a multi user computer environment using a database tool. The existing computerised MRP-II tools were not feasible for the company, so that we decided to build a new business automation tool tailored to meet the needs of the company. This tool is based on a classical manufacturing resources planning approach, also including a task scheduling and control mechanism. The existing software applications were investigated. They were either too complicated for implementation in the company, or they lacked some details, which are needed. Before the development of a custom made ERP system, the actual operations of the company are studied, and the actually needed and potentially needed operations, procedures and reports are identified. Among the benefits of this work are: The company did not suffer the problems generated by the transition from the existing system to the new computerised ERP system; The learning curve for the personnel, and the adaptation time for the whole company is considerably short; An increase in the efficiency and accuracy in the company's operations is expected.
