Özet
19.yy'da, endüstri devrimi sonrası, modernleşme süreçlerinin başlamasıyla birlikte, mimarlık nesnesinin tekil ve özel varoluşu sarsılmış, küresel ölçekte seri üretim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi ile birlikte mimarlık geniş kitlelerin ihtiyaçlarına cevap verecek şekilde pozisyon almıştır. Modernizm, bir taraftan geleneğin dogmatik sınırlarından özgürleşmeyi sağlarken, bir taraftan bireyi anlamın net bir şekilde yaşandığı geleneksel dünyadan kopararak, yersiz yurtsuz kılmıştır. Araştırma, bu çerçevede küresel ve yerel değerler bağlamında nitelikli mimarlık ürününü oluşturan değerleri, bireyin yaşam dünyasını yansıtan ev-mesken yapı türü üzerinden, eleştirel bölgeselciliğin öne çıkan kavramları aracılığıyla ortaya koymayı hedefler. Bu çalışmada, evin yeryüzüyle temasında kurulan kültürel, çevresel ve sosyal yapıyı eleştirel bölgeselciliğin öne çıkan kavramları aracılığıyla açıklayarak yere dair farklı yaklaşımları ortaya koymak, tipoloji, topoğrafya, tektonik kavramları ölçüt alınarak evin bağlamla kurduğu ilişkiyi irdelemek, Türkiye'deki geleneksel ve çağdaş konut mimarlığında üretilen nitelikli ev örneklerini incelemek hedeflenmektedir. Bu çerçevede varoluşumuzu konumlandıran bir yer olarak 'ev' mekânı yerel ve evrensel kodlar üzerinden incelenmiş, kültür ve doğal çevreyle kurulan yerleşme hali irdelenmiştir. Çalışmanın ilk aşamasında mevcut literatürde bulunan kavram ve söylemler haritalanarak çalışmanın odak noktaları tespit edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda, seçilen mimarlar ve yapıları listelenerek, eleştirel bölgeselciliğin topoğrafya, tipoloji, tektonik form, doğal/yapay kavramları üzerinden incelenmiş, oluşturulan araştırma grupları aracılığıyla ev mekânının yerle kurdukları diyalog, yerel ve evrensel değerler arasında incelenmiştir.

In the 19th century, following the Industrial Revolution and the beginning of modernization processes, the singular and unique existence of architectural objects was disrupted, and architecture positioned itself to provide the needs of the masses on a global scale with the advancements in mass production technologies. While modernism liberated itself from the dogmatic boundaries of tradition , it also detached individuals from the traditional world where meaning was experienced clearly, leaving them rootless and displaced. This research aims to reveal the values that constitute a qualified building within the context of global and local values, through the type of dwelling that reflects the individual's living environment, by using the prominent concepts of critical regionalism. In this study, the aim is to present various approaches pertaining to the cultural, environmental, and social structure established through the interaction of the house with the place, by explaining it through the prominent concepts of critical regionalism, and examining the relationship between the house and its context based on the criteria of typology, topography, and tectonics. It also aims to examine examples of high-quality traditional and contemporary residential architecture in Turkey. In this regard, the 'home' space, which positions our existence, has been examined through local and universal codes, and the settlement process established with culture and natural environment has been analyzed. In the initial phase of the study, the existing literature's concepts and discourses were mapped to determine the focal points of the research. Selected architects and their works were examined through the prominent concepts of critical regionalism such as place, topography, typology, tectonic form, and natural/artificial, and the dialogue established by the home space with its surroundings was examined in terms of local and universal values through the research groups.
