Özet

Ders kitapları, eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerinin etkili bir şekilde yürütülebilmesi açısından önemli olan ve ülkemizde okullarda en çok kullanılan materyallerin başında gelmektedir. Bundan dolayı öğrencilere okutulacak ders kitapları dikkatli bir şekilde hazırlanmalı ve ihtiyaçlar doğrultusunda düzenlenmelidir. Bu araştırmada, ortaokul Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi 5. Sınıf ders kitaplarındaki görsellerin öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Eğitim-öğretim sürecinde, görsel yolun etkin öğrenme yollarından biri olduğu düşünülmektedir. Elbette bir görselin amacına ulaşabilmesi için görsel tasarım ilkelerine ve tasarım ögelerine uygun, nitelikli hazırlanması önem arz eder. Bu amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan araştırmanın, ders kitabı seçme ve değerlendirme görevini üstlenecek öğretmenlere bir örnek oluşturması açısından önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca araştırma, ortaokul Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi 5. Sınıf ders kitaplarındaki görselleri inceleyen ilk araştırma olması bakımından da önem arz etmektedir. Çalışma nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden survey (anket) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklemde seçilen Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretmenlerinin anket sorularına verdiği cevaplardan elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 Paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemede madde bazında frekans (n) ve yüzde (%) kullanılarak çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu araştırma, 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında okutulmak üzere belirlenen Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi 5. Sınıf ders kitaplarındaki resim/çizim (illüstrasyon), Hüsn-i Hat ve fotoğraf görsellerinin incelenmesiyle sınırlandırılmıştır. Araştırma Konya ili Karatay, Meram ve Selçuklu ilçelerine bağlı ortaokul ve imam hatip ortaokullarında görev yapan 334 Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretmeniyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ders kitaplarında yer alan resim/çizim (illüstrasyon), Hüsn-i Hat ve fotoğraf görselleri DKAB öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmiş ve öğretmenlere göre; bu görsellerin anlam bakımından yeterli olduğu, metinle içerik bağlantısı olarak birebir örtüşmeyen resimlerin de yer aldığı ancak büyük çoğunlukta görsellerin içerikle uyumlu olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte görsellerin biçim bakımından da yeterli olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca görsellerin öğrencilerin gelişim düzeylerine uygun olduğu ve gerçeklik özelliklerinin bulunduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Textbooks are one of the most used materials in schools in our country, which are important for the effective execution of educational activities. For this reason, the textbooks to be taught to students should be carefully prepared and rearranged in line with the needs. In this research, it was aimed that the evaluation of the visuals in 5th grade religious culture and ethics books according to teachers' opinions. In the education-teaching process, it is thought that the visual way is one of the effective ways of learning. Of course, for an image to reach its exact purpose, it is important that the images should be prepared in a qualified manner in accordance with visual design principles and the design elements. It is thought that the research prepared for this purpose is important in terms of setting an example for teachers who will undertake the task of selecting and evaluating textbooks. In addition, this research is important in terms of being the first research to examine the visuals in the secondary school Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge 5th grade textbooks. This study was carried out using the quantitative research method and for this, the survey method, one of quantitative research methods, was used. The data obtained from the answers given by the teachers of Religious Culture and Ethics for the survey questions, examined and analyzed by the SPSS 22.0 software. The study in determining teacher opinions was carried out by item-based frequency (n) and percentage (%). This research was carried out in the 2022-2023 academic year and the picture/drawing (illustration) in the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge 5th Grade textbooks determined to be taught is limited to examining Hüsn-i calligraphy and photographic images. The research was carried out with 334 Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge teachers working in secondary schools and imam hatip secondary schools in Karatay, Meram and Selçuklu districts of Konya. In textbooks, the picture/drawing (illustration), Hüsn-i Calligraphy and photographic images in the textbooks were evaluated according to the opinions of the teachers. It is determined by the teachers that these images are sufficient in terms of meaning. There were images that do not exactly match the text, but the majority of the images were compatible with the content. At the same time, it was concluded that the visuals were sufficient in terms of form. In addition, it is obvious that the visuals are suitable for the development levels of the students, and it is understood that they are reflecting the reality features.
