Özet

Günümüz sanatında bellek kavramı, bireysel kimlik arayışlarını biçimlendiren unsurların başında gelmektedir. Sanat aracılığıyla bellekte değişip dönüşen geçmiş deneyimlerimiz, bugünde yeni bir okuma sunmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmanın amacı, var olduğumuz sürece canlı kalan bellek kavramının süreçlerini irdelerken, aynı zamanda zihnimizin gizil odalarını keşfettikçe ortaya çıkan farklı anlatım biçimlerini sorgulamaktır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde geçmiş zaman kavramı bir arayış biçimi olarak incelenmiş, zihnimizin mahremiyet alanı olan belleğin depolama ve yeniden inşa etme rolü bağlamında kavranmaya çalışılmıştır. Bellek aracılığıyla üretilen sanat eserinin; deneyimler, dramatik bağlantılar, tarihsel ve toplumsal belirleyicilerle ilişkileri kurularak yeni verilere ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Nostalji olanaklarının algılanan geçmiş imgesi üzerindeki diyaloğu sorgulanıp, biçime dönüşen üslubu tartışmaya açılmış; anımsamanın bireysel ve kolektif deneyim süreçleri, felsefi yansımaları ve psikolojik etmenleri sorgulanmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise şimdi ve burada duyumsanan ve ifadeye ihtiyaç duyan imgenin mekandan ayrı düşünülemeyen yapısı ve anımsamanın kaçınılmaz biçimi olan unutma eylemi farklı bakış açıları ve yapıt örnekleri bağlamında kavramsal bir çerçevede incelenmiştir. Tüm bu araştırmalar doğrultusunda üretilen çalışmalar imge-mekan-zaman bağlamında sorgulanmaya açılmıştır.

In today's art, the concept of memory is one of the elements that shape the search for individual identity. Our past experiences, which are transformed and transformed in memory through art, present a new reading today. The aim of this study is to examine the processes of the concept of memory, which remains alive as long as we exist, while at the same time questioning the different forms of expression that emerge as we explore the hidden rooms of our minds. In the first part of the study, the concept of past time was examined as a way of seeking, and it was tried to be grasped in the context of the storage and rebuilding role of memory, which is the privacy area of my mind. The work of art produced through memory; It has been tried to reach new data by establishing relations with experiences, dramatic connections, historical and social determinants. The dialogue of the possibilities of nostalgia on the perceived image of the past was questioned, and his style, which turned into a form, was opened for discussion; Individual and collective experience processes, philosophical reflections and psychological factors of remembering were questioned. In the second part, the structure of the image that is felt here and now and needs expression, which cannot be separated from the space, and the act of forgetting, which is the inevitable form of remembering, are examined in a conceptual framework in the context of different perspectives and examples of works. Studies produced in line with all these researches have been opened to question in the context of image-space-time.
