Özet
Hicrî dördüncü asırda teşekkül eden Eş'arîlik, tarih boyunca hadis alimleri tarafından büyük rağbet görmüş bir kelâm mezhebidir. Mezhebin kurucusu Ebü'l-Hasen el-Eş'arî'nin (ö. 324/935) kelâmî faaliyetleri, ashâb-ı hadîs içerisinde tarihî bir bölünme yaşanmasına yol açmıştır. Kelâm düşüncesi ekseninde Selefî/Hanbelî muhaddislerle Eş'arî muhaddisler arasında meydana gelen ayrışma, hadis sahasında birbirine rakip iki ekolün öne çıkmasını sağlamıştır. Eş'arî muhaddisler zümresini bir ekol olarak inceleyen bu çalışma, söz konusu ayrışmanın tarihsel bağlamdaki sebepleri ve sonuçları ışığında Eş'arî hadis ekolünün hadis tarihindeki yerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada Eş'arî hadis ekolünün tarihî seyri üç döneme ayrılarak ele alınmış ve her bir dönem özelinde ileri gelen Eş'arî hadis alimleri mercek altına alınmıştır. Eş'arî hadis alimleri arasındaki ilişki ağları tespit edilerek bu alimlerin oluşturduğu silsile ortaya konulmuş, diğer taraftan Eş'arî muhaddisler ile Selefî/Hanbelî muhaddisler arasındaki ihtilaflar ve çatışmalar tahlil edilmiştir. Böylece hadis tarihini tek düze bir akış hâlinde değil; Eş'arî düşüncenin ehl-i hadîs bünyesinde sebebiyet verdiği ayrışmayı, bunun sonucunda teşekkül eden Eş'arî hadis ekolünü ve Eş'arî-Selefî kutuplaşmasını dikkate almak suretiyle okumanın hadis tarihine farklı bir pencere açtığı gösterilmiştir.

Ash'arism, which emerged in the fourth century of Hijra, is a sect of kalam that is highly preferred by hadith scholars throughout the history. Theological studies of Abū al-Hasan al-Ash'arī (d. 324/935), the founder of doctrine, led to a significant division within the ahl al-hadith. The conflict between Salafī/Hanbalī hadith scholars and Ash'arī hadith scholars on the axis of theological thought led to the prominence of two competing schools in the field of hadith. Examining Ash'arī hadith scholars as representatives of a school, this thesis aims to determine the place of the Ash'arī school of hadith in the history of hadith in the light of the reasons and consequences of the mentioned conflict on the historical context. In this study, the history of the Ash'arī school of hadith was analyzed by dividing it into three periods and the leading Ash'arī hadith scholars in each period were examined. In addition, the networks of relations between Ash'arī hadith scholars were determined and the sequence formed by these scholars was revealed. On the other hand, disagreements and conflicts between Ash'arī hadith scholars and Salafī/Hanbalī hadith scholars have been investigated. In this way, it has been revealed that when the history of hadith is read not as a monotonous flow but by taking into account the division caused by the Ash'arite thought within the ahl al-hadith, the Ash'arī school of hadith that emerged as a result of this and the Ash'arī-Salafī polarisation, a different perspective on the history of hadith is developed.
