Özet
İnsanlığın gelişim süreci boyunca başlayan çevre istismarı insan topluluklarının evrim süreci ile beraber gelişen bilgi ve teknoloji temelinde şiddetlenmiştir. Zamanla insan kendini çevreye hâkim bir varlık olarak görmüş üretim ve tüketim kalıplarını bu bağlamda geliştirmiştir. Bu sürecin bir sonucu olarak Doğrusal veya Lineer Ekonomi modeli ortaya çıkmıştır. Gelişim ve kullanım sürecinde çevreye saygısız bir şekilde yürütülen bu model ekonomilere eşi benzeri görülmemiş bir büyüme ve gelişme sağlamış; fakat zamanla küresel ölçekli çevre sorunlarını meydana getirmiştir. Çevre sorunlarının patlak vermesiyle Doğrusal Ekonomi modelinin sürdürülemez olduğu gerçeği ortaya çıkmış ve bu modelin yerini alacak sürdürülebilir bir model arayışı başlamıştır. Bu arayış sonucu yenilikçi ve onarıcı bir model olan Döngüsel Ekonomi anlayışı ortaya çıkmıştır. Ekonomik büyümeyi kaynak kullanımından ayırmak, minimum kaynakla maksimum fayda elde etmek, mevcut kaynakları kapalı döngü içinde uzun süre kullanmak şeklinde çeşitli hedeflere sahip olan Döngüsel Ekonomi sürdürülebilir bir gelecek için acil geçilmesi gereken bir ekonomik modeldir. Günümüz dünyasında geçiş aşamasında olan, mikro, meso ve makro boyutlarda çeşitli aktörler tarafından uygulanan, kendine özgü stratejilere ve iş modellerine sahip Döngüsel Ekonomi, kendi olumlu yanları ile birbirinden farklı ekonomik, toplumsal ve çevresel fırsatlar ortaya çıkarma potansiyeline sahiptir. Fakat, tüm bunlara rağmen giderilmediği taktirde Döngüsel Ekonomi barındırdığı bir takım sorunlar, boşluklar ve zayıflıklar nedeni ile çeşitli engeller de ortaya çıkarabilecek bir kavramdır.

Environmental abuse, which has started since the time when human history appeared, has intensified on the basis of information and technology that has developed along with the evolutionary process of human communities. Over time, man has seen himself as an entity that dominates the environment and has developed production and consumption patterns in this context. As a result of this process, a Linear Economy model has emerged. This model, which is carried out in a way that is disrespectful to the environment during the development and use process, has provided unprecedented growth and development to economies but over time, it has created global-scale environmental problems. With the outbreak of environmental issues, the fact that the Linear Economy model is unsustainable has been revealed, and the search for a sustainable model to replace this model has begun. As a result of this search, the Circular Economy concept, which is an innovative and restorative model, has emerged. The Circular Economy, which has various goals in the form of separating economic growth from resource use, obtaining maximum benefits with minimum resources, and using existing resources for a long time in a closed loop, is an economic model that needs to be passed urgently for a sustainable future. The Circular Economy, which is at a transition stage in today's world, implemented by various actors in micro, meso and macro dimensions, has its own unique strategies and business models, has the potential to create different economic, social and environmental opportunities with its own positive aspects. However, despite all this, if it is not resolved, Circular Economy is a concept that may present various obstacles due to some problems, gaps and weaknesses it contains.
