Özet
Bu çalışma, uzun bir zaman zarfında toplum tarafından inşa edilen ve daha sonra da onun ayrılmaz bir parçası halini alan geleneğin insan üzerindeki baskın gücünü ortaya koyma amacına istinaden kaleme alınmaktadır. Nitekim din tasavvurlarında birtakım bozulmaların meydana geldiği toplumlara gönderilen peygamberlerin karşısına çıkan en ciddi problemlerden birinin geleneğin içerisinde taşınan atalar dini olduğu görülmektedir. Genel itibariyle gelenek de bir bütün olarak algılandığından, onun unsurlarının tümü sorgu ve eleştiriye tabi tutulmaksızın kabul edilebilmektedir. Böylece geleneğin bir unsuru olan atalar dininin bozulmuş tarafları da nesilden nesle intikal ederek hakikat payesi kazanabilmektedir. İşte bu çalışma zikredilen bu durumu örnekler üzerinden bahis konusu yapmaktadır. Çalışmamız giriş, dört ana bölüm ve sonuç kısmından oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında araştırmanın amacı ve metoduna dair bilgiler verilmektedir. Birinci bölümde din lafzı açıklanmakta ve atalar dini kavramı gelenek, taklit ve taassup gibi kelimeler üzerinden izah edilmektedir. İkinci bölümde Hz. İbrahim'in Yahudiler ve Cahiliye Dönemi müşrik Araplarıyla soy ve inanç ilişkisinin ne'liği ve hem Hz. İbrahim'in hem de kavminin dininin mahiyeti ele alınmaktadır. Zira çalışmanın temel tezi olan atalar dini meselesi, kendilerini soy ve inanç bakımından Hz. İbrahim'e nispet eden Yahudilerin ve müşrik Arapların dinini izah etmeyi gerektirdiği gibi, Hz. İbrahim'in ve mücadele ettiği kavminin dinini de izahı zorunlu kılmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde Hz. Yusuf'un vefatından itibaren Mısır'da ikamet eden Yahudilerin bölge halkının atalar dininden ne şekilde ve hangi yönlerden etkilendikleri, Hz. Musa'nın onları Mısır esaretinden kurtarması ve hak dine davet etmesi bağlamında ortaya koyulmaktadır. Dördüncü bölümde ise Cahiliye Dönemi müşrik Araplarının atalarından tevarüs eden dinlerinin mahiyetine değinilmekte ve bu din, kendilerini soy ve inanç bakımından nispet ettikleri Hz. İbrahim'in diniyle kıyaslanmaktadır. Sonuç kısmında da teze dair genel ve toparlayıcı açıklamalar yapılmakta, ataları Hz. İbrahim'in yolu üzere olduklarını iddia eden Yahudi ve müşrik Arapların, atalarının dinini nasıl tahrif ettiklerine değinilerek çalışma nihayete erdirilmektedir.

This study is written for the purpose of revealing the dominant power of the tradition, which was built by the society over a long period of time and then became an inseparable part of it. As a matter of fact, it is seen that one of the most serious problems faced by the prophets sent to the societies where some deteriorations in the religious conceptions occurred is the ancestors religion carried in the tradition. Since the tradition is generally perceived as a whole, all of its elements can be accepted without being questioned and criticized. Thus, the corrupted aspects of the ancestors religion, which is an element of tradition, can be passed down from generation to generation and gain the rank of truth. In this study, this situation is mentioned through examples. Our study consists of introduction, four main chapters and conclusion. In the introduction, information about the researcher's purpose and method is given. In the first part, the word religion is explained and the concept of the ancestors religion is explained through words such as tradition, imitation and bigotry. In the second part, the nature of Abraham's relationship of lineage and faith with Jews and Arabs and the nature of the religion of both Abraham and his people are discussed. Thus The issue of the ancestors religion, which is the main thesis of the study, requires explaining the religion of the Jews and polytheist Arabs, who attribute themselves to Abraham in terms of lineage and belief, and also makes it necessary to explain the religion of Abraham and his tribe. In the third chapter, how and in which ways the Jews residing in Egypt since the death of Joseph were influenced by the the ancestors religion of the people of the region, are revealed in the context of Moses' freeing them from Egyptian captivity and inviting them to the true religion. In the fourth chapter, the nature of the religion inherited from the ancestors of the polytheist Arabs of the Jahiliyyah Period is mentioned and this religion is compared with the religion of Abraham, to whom they attribute themselves in terms of lineage and belief. In the conclusion part, general and summative explanations are made about the thesis, and it is briefly expressed how the Jews and polytheists Arabs in Jahiliyyah Period, who claimed that they were on the way of their ancestor Abraham, falsify the religion of their ancestors.
