Özet
The study aims to assess the structured system for providing school health services, To evaluate school health services provided for primary school students in the Al-Kut district during the academic year 2021-2022, and to determine the consumers' (school principals) satisfaction with school health services provided by primary health care centers. Between March 20, 2022, and May 18, 2022, a cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in selected primary schools within the local government area of Kut, Iraq. In the present study, a non-probability purposeful sample consisting of 158 subjects was included. The findings indicated that 81 individuals (54.72%) were in the 35-45 years old age group, whereas 67 individuals (45.27%) fell into the 46-60 years old category. Regarding gender, most of the samples were male, accounting for 83 individuals (56.08%), while 65 individuals (43.91%) were female. Regarding educational achievements, 78 individuals (52.70%) had Bachelor's degrees. The majority of schools, accounting for 118(80%), were public. Regarding participation in training courses, 97.97% had taken part in training courses related to school health services. The results showed that (3) of PHCCs had a team of school health with experience in school health services and preventive assistance. Only (2) PHCCs (40.0%) had an integrated school health team, and five PHCCs (100.0%) had an integrated school health team. In all PHCCs 5(100%), it is the school health team's duties and names. Overture schools to determine times for parent-teacher meetings were available in 80% of the PHCCs. The school health team consistently provided at least one visit for each school every semester in all cases, indicating 100% availability. The iv director of the primary health care center invariably served as the chairman of the committee responsible for examining newly registered students in all cases, Health information was uniformly documented in school cards in all cases, and none of the cases had computerized records, with a 100% availability rate. The primary health care clinics assessed incoming pupils, averaging 749, from 325 to 1400. The mean number of pupils assessed for clinical, visual, auditory, nutritional, psychological, and oral health issues was 749. The recommended vaccine schedule was followed by 325 to 1400 students, averaging 749. Finally, 2 to 40 students were referred to the consultation center for health issues, averaging 19. According to the health appraisals of primary school students for stage 2 (from 2 to 6), 18 schools were visited (6 to 26), 2920 students were screened visually (visual acuity test), and 2635 students were screened visually. In addition, 38 children were referred to consultation clinics for diagnosis and treatment of the found cases, ranging from 5 to 78, while 32 kids were given glasses at the primary stages (2 to 6). Finally, 1 to 2 students were checked with an audiogram device in a primary health care center (2 to 6). The Findings showed that most of the Comprehensive health appraisal was satisfied 79(53.3%), while not most of the Care of emergency cases and first aid services were satisfied where the result of Satisfied to some extent was 79 (53.37%). Also, most of the Providing safety food was Satisfied to some extent 79(53.37%), while most of the monitoring of the workers' health was satisfied 87(58.78%). Also, most of the health education and guidance were satisfied 70(47.29%). The most overall satisfaction toward the provided school health services was Satisfied to some extent 85(57.43%). The study concludes that while the construction of the school health services system in primary healthcare centers was generally good, there were areas that needed improvement. The involvement of teachers in raising awareness among students and training them was lacking, and documentation of awareness activities was also insufficient. However, overall, participants were satisfied with the school health services provided.
