Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin perspektifinden okulun ve eğitimin değişen dinamiklerini betimlemektir. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, İstanbul ili Küçükçekmece ilçesinde çeşitli eğitim kademelerinde görev yapan ve branşları Bilişim Teknolojileri, Türkçe, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik, Okul Öncesi, Fen Bilimleri, Matematik, Fizik, İngilizce ve Sınıf Öğretmenliği olan 15 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan nitel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Veri toplamak amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Veriler, betimsel analiz tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda veriler Öğrenme ve Öğretim Sürecinde Meydana Gelen Değişimler, Okul Paydaşlarının Rollerinde Meydana Gelen Değişimler ve Geleceğin Eğitim Modeline İlişkin Görüşler olarak üç tema altında toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; öğretmenlerin eğitim ve öğretimde uygulamaya etki eden değişimleri çoğunlukla dijital materyallerin artmasıyla ilişkilendirdikleri ancak bu materyalleri ders içeriklerinde uygulama konusunda isteksiz oldukları görülmüştür. Öğretmenlere göre okul ortamının ve okul anlayışının öğrencilerin ihtiyaçlarına daha iyi yanıt verebilen teknoloji odaklı, etkileşimli ve işbirlikçi bir yaklaşımı benimseyen bir kavrama dönüştüğü sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ancak geçmişten günümüze eğitim sistemi, uygulanan öğrenme yaklaşımları ve kullanılan materyallere ilişkin birçok değişiklik yaşanmasına rağmen bu değişimlerin uygulamaya dönük aktarımında yaşanan sorunlardan ve okulların fiziki yapılanmalarından dolayı eğitim öğretime beklenen yararı sağlamadığı belirtilmiştir. Günümüzde öğrencilerin aile yapılarındaki bozulmalar, sağlıksız beslenme vb. sebeplerden artan davranış problemleri, velilerin öğrenme sürecine artan katkısı ve aşırı korumacılık eğilimi öğrencilerin ve velilerin rollerinde yaşanan değişimler olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin ise mesleki öğrenmelere ilişkin istekli oldukları görülürken teknolojiyi öğrenme sürecine entegre edebilmelerine ilişkin isteksiz oldukları görülmüştür. Bireyselleştirilmiş eğitim yaklaşımının ve web tabanlı eğitim modelinin öğretmenlere göre gelecekteki eğitim uygulamalarında öneminin artacağı ve 21. yüzyıl becerilerinin öğrenme sürecini şekillendireceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study was conducted with the aim of describing how the changes occurring at both national and international levels have influenced the educational understanding based on the perspectives of teachers. The participants of the study consisted of 15 teachers working at various education levels in Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul, specializing in fields such as Information Technologies, Turkish Language, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, PreSchool Education, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, English, and Classroom Teaching. The study employed a basic qualitative research method, allowing for an in-depth exploration of the subject matter. To collect data, a semistructured interview form was prepared, and the interviews were recorded using an audio recording device. Subsequently, the recordings were transcribed and analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. Through the analyses conducted, the data was categorized under three themes: Changes Occurring in the Learning and Teaching Process, Changes in the Roles of School Stakeholders, and Views Regarding the Future Education Model. These three themes were further divided into sub-themes through descriptive analysis. As a result of the research, it was observed that teachers primarily associated the changes influencing education and instruction with the increasing use of digital materials. However, they expressed reluctance in implementing these materials within the content of their lessons. According to the teachers, the school environment and approach have transformed into a concept that embraces a technology-focused, interactive, and collaborative approach better catering to the needs of students. Nevertheless, despite numerous changes in the education system, applied learning approaches, and utilized materials over time, it was noted that these changes did not yield the expected benefits in practical application due to issues in transferring these changes into practice and the physical structuring of schools. It was observed that changes occurred in the roles of students and parents, attributed to factors such as disruptions in students' family structures, unhealthy nutrition, increased contribution of parents to the learning process, and a tendency towards overprotection. While teachers displayed willingness towards professional learning, they showed reluctance in integrating technology into the learning process. The study concluded that the individualized education approach and web-based education model will play an increasingly significant role in future education practices according to the teachers, shaping the learning process in terms of 21stcentury skills.
