Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, cerrahi hemşirelerinin çalışma ortamları ile bakım davranışları arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmaktadır. Yöntem: Yöntem olarak, ilişkisel tarama ve betimleyici yöntem kullanıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini, cerrahi bölümlerinde çalışan 250 hemşire oluşturdu. Örneklem, bu evrenden rastgele seçilen 190 cerrahi hemşireyi içermektedir. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Hemşire Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Bakım Davranışları Ölçeği-24 ve Hemşirelik İş İndeksi- Hemşirelik Çalışma Ortamını Değerlendirme Ölçeği kullanıldı. Veriler; sayı, yüzde, Anova testi ve Bağımsız gruplar t Testi, Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal-Wallis testi ve Spearman's Rho korelasyon katsayısı ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Cerrahi hemşirelerin hemşirelik iş indeksi - hemşirelik çalışma ortamını değerlendirme ölçeği genel ortalama puanı 2.07±.54; bakım davranışları ölçeği genel puan ortalaması 4.92±.89, Güvence alt boyutu ortalama puanı 4.94±.87, Bilgi ve Beceri alt boyutu ortalama puanı 5.08±.97, Saygı alt boyutu ortalama puanı 4.88±1.04 ve Bağlılık alt boyutu ortalama puanı 4.77±1.07 bulundu. Çalışılan birim, ortalama hasta sayısı, haftalık çalışma süresi, çalıştığı birimi seçme gibi faktörlerin hemşirelerin bakım davranışlarına ve çalışma ortamına ilişkin algılarını etkilediği belirlendi. Cerrahi hemşirelerinin bakım davranışları ölçeği puanları ile hemşirelik iş indeksi- hemşirelik çalışma ortamını değerlendirme ölçeği puanları arasında negatif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı zayıf bir ilişki bulundu (r=0,192; p=0,008). Sonuç: Cerrahi hemşirelerinin çalışma ortamıyla ilgili genel memnuniyetin orta seviyede olduğu, bakım davranışlarının genel olarak yüksek memnuniyet düzeyine sahip oldukları, BDÖ-24 ile Hİİ-HÇODÖ arasında zayıf ve düşük düzey negatif yönlü korelasyon olduğu sonucuna ulaşıldı. Cerrahi hemşirelerinin bakım davranışlarının, hemşirelerin kişisel ve profesyonel özellikleriyle ve çalıştıkları ortamın koşullarıyla yakından ilişkili olduğu saptandı. Bu sonuçlar, hemşirelik yönetimi ve politikalarının, hemşirelik eğitiminin ve çalışma ortamlarının geliştirilmesi açısından önemli iç görüler sağlamakta ve sağlık hizmeti sağlayıcıları için bu tür demografik ve kişisel faktörleri dikkate alarak hemşirelik eğitimi ve politikalarını optimize etmek gerektiğini vurgulamaktadır. Purpose: The aim of this study is investigates the relationship between surgical nurses' work environments and care behaviors. Methods: As methods, relational screening and descriptive methods were used. The population of the research consisted of nurses working in surgical departments. The population of the research consisted of nurses working in surgical departments. The sample included 190 surgical nurses randomly selected from this universe. Nurse Introductory Information Form, Care Behavior Scale-24 and Nursing Work Index-Nursing Work Environment Evaluation Scale were used as data collection tools. Data; It was evaluated by number, percentage, Anova test and Independent groups t Test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test and Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient. Results: The overall mean score of surgical nurses on the nursing work index - nursing work environment evaluation scale was 2.07±.54; Care behaviors scale general mean score is 4.92±.89, Assurance subscale mean score is 4.94±.87, Knowledge and Skills subscale mean score is 5.08±.97, Respect subscale mean score is 4.88±1.04 and Commitment subscale mean score is 4.77±1.07. found. It was determined that factors such as the unit they worked in, the average number of patients, the weekly working time, and the choice of the unit they worked in affected nurses' perceptions of their care behaviors and working environment. A weak, statistically significant relationship was found between the surgical nurses' care behavior scale scores and the nursing work index-nursing work environment evaluation scale scores. Conclusion: It was concluded that the general satisfaction of surgical nurses with the working environment was at a medium level, they had a generally high level of satisfaction with their care behaviors, and there was a weak and moderate negative correlation between BDI and HIS-HCAS (r=0.192; p<0.008). It was determined that the caring behaviors of surgical nurses were closely related to the nurses' personal and professional characteristics and the conditions of the environment in which they worked. These results provide important insights for the development of nursing management and policies, nursing education and work environments, and highlight the need for healthcare providers to optimize nursing education and policies by taking such demographic and personal factors into account.
