Özet
Araştırmanın amacı Spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin empati düzeyleri ile sportmenlik becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin sportif aktivite ve farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde tasarlanmış spor bilimleri fakültelerinde 2023-2024 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 705 öğrenci araştırma grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”,“Empati Düzeyi Belirleme Ölçeği”ve“Çok Boyutlu Sportmenlik Yönelimi Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde öncelikli tanımlayıcı istatistikleri hesaplanmış ve normal dağılım gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Normal dağılım sergilemesinden dolayı parametrik testlerden t-testi, ANOVA analizleri ve korelasyon testleri uygulanmıştır. Verilerin iç tutarlık değerlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla Cronbah's Alpha analizi uygulanmıştır. Gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılığın tespit edilmesi amacıyla Tukey çoklu karşılaştırma testi uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlar p<0,050 anlamlılık düzeyine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda; öğrencilerin empati düzeylerinde cinsiyet, öğrenim görmekte olduğu bölüm ve sporculuk sürecinde ceza alma durumlarına göre aralarında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Çok boyutlu sportmenlik yönelimlerinde cinsiyet, yapmakta oldukları spor türü ve sporculuk sürecinde ceza alma durumlarına göre aralarında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların empati düzeyleri ölçeği alt boyutları ile çok boyutlu sportmenlik yönelimi ölçeği alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin sportmenlik ve empati düzeylerini artırarak sporculuk ve mesleki hayatlarını olumlu yönde etkileyecek alanlar üzerine üniversitelerde oluşturulacak eğitim programları önerilebilir. 2023, 76 sayfa

The aim of the research is to examine the relationship between empathy levels and sportsmanship skills of students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences in terms of sports activities and different variables. The research group consists of 705 students studying in sports science faculties designed in the relational survey model in the 2023-2024 academic year.“Personal Information Form”,“Empathy Level Determination Scale”and“Multidimensional Sportsmanship Orientation Scale”were used as data collection tools in the research. In the analysis of the data, primary descriptive statistics were calculated and it was determined that it showed normal distribution. Due to its normal distribution, parametric tests such as t-test, ANOVA analysis and correlation tests were applied. Cronbah's Alpha analysis was applied to examine the internal consistency values of the data. Tukey's multiple comparison test was applied to detect significant differences between groups. The results were evaluated according to the significance level of p<0.050. As a result of the analysis; A significant difference was detected in the empathy levels of the students according to their gender, the department they are studying in and whether they were punished during their sports career. Significant differences were detected in multidimensional sportsmanship orientations according to gender, the type of sports they do and whether they received punishment during the sports process. It was determined that there was a positive relationship between the participants' empathy levels scale sub-dimensions and the multidimensional sportsmanship orientation scale sub-dimensions. Educational programs to be created at universities can be recommended on areas that will positively affect the sportsmanship and professional lives of students by increasing their sportsmanship and empathy levels. 2023, 35 pages
