Özet
Bu çalışma, Bicentennial Man (1999) filminden önce çekilen 6 film ve sonrasında çekilen 4 filmi ve bu filmlerdeki androidlerin temsillerinin nasıl ve neden değiştiğini anlatmaktadır. Bicentennial Man (1999) filminden önce çekilen 5 filmde androidler ölürken, Bicentennial Man'den önce çekilen D.A.R.Y.L adlı filmdeki android filmde sağ kalmaktadır. Bu filmi değişimin habercisi ve zamanının öncü bir örneği olarak ele almak istedim ve filmdeki android karakterin neden sağ kaldığını detaylarıyla analizde açıkladım. Bicentennial Man (1999) filminden sonra çekilen diğer 4 filmde ise androidlerin temsillerinin nasıl değiştiğini anlattım. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bu analiz edilen 10 film ışığında androdilerin temsillerinin ne zaman ve neden değiştiğini, toplumun androidlerle ilgili algı yönetimini ve paradigma değişiminin nerede ve nasıl gerçekleştiğini anlatmaktır. Bunun için önce android kavramını anlatmak ve filmlerdeki androidlerin siborglardan nerede ve nasıl ayrıldığını, aralarındaki farklılıkları anlatmak istedim. Bu bölümde androidlerin temel kavrayış fonksiyonu olarak“fuzzy logic”kavramına kısaca değinmek istedim. Sonuç bölümünde ise insanın doğası, insanlar arası sosyal ilşikilerin yapısı ve filmlerdeki androidlerin doğası, kendi aralarındaki ve insanlarla olan ilişkilerinin yapısını inceleyip karşılaştırdım.

This study describes the 6 films shot before Bicentennial Man (1999) and the 3 films shot after it, and how and why the representations of androids in these films changed. While the androids died in the 5 movies shot before Bicentennial Man (1999), one particular movie is shot before the film“Bicentennial Man”has an android character that survives at the end. This film is called D.A.R.Y.L. I wanted to consider this film as a harbinger of change and a pioneering example of its time, and I explained in the analysis why the android character survived at the end. I also explained how the representations of androids changed in the other 3 films shot after Bicentennial Man (1999). This study aims to explain when and why the representations of androids in films changed, society's perception management of androids, and where and how the paradigm shift took place, in the light of these 10 films that are analysed. For this reason, first of all I wanted to explain the concept of android where and how the androids in the movies differ from cyborgs, and the differences between them. In this section, I wanted to briefly touch upon the concept of“fuzzy logic”as the basic comprehension function of androids. In conclusion, I examined and compared the nature of humans, the structure of social relations between humans, and the nature of androids in the movies, the structure of their relationships among themselves and with humans.
