Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmada amaç, açık teknik ile yapılan rinoplasti ve septorinoplasti yapılan hastaların preoperatif dönem (preop), postoperatif dönem (postop) 3. ay ve postop 6. ay memnuniyetlerinin ve uyku kalitelerinin değerlendirilmesi, aradaki ilişki ve korelasyonun değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Bu amaç doğrultusunda kliniğimize başvuran rinoplasti ve septorinoplasti kriterlerine uyan ve çalışma şartlarını karşılayan bireyler dahil edildi. Toplam örneklem sayısı 59'dur. Çalışmaya katılan bireylerin %70'i kadın, %30'u erkekti. Çalışmaya katılan bireylerin 27'sine rinoplasti, 32'sine septorinoplasti ameliyatı yapıldı. Ameliyatlar aynı ekip tarafından yapıldı. Bireylere preop Pittsburg Uyku Kalite İndeksi (PUKİ) ve Rinoplasti Sonuçları Değerlendirme-Türkçe (ROET) anketi uygulandı. Aynı anketler postop 3. ve 6. aylarda hastalara tekrardan uygulandı. Postop 6. ayda bakılan ROET değerlerinde rinoplasti ameliyatının (p=0.021) septorinoplasti ameliyatına istatistiksel olarak üstün bulunduğu görüldü. Her iki ameliyatı olan bireylerde de preop döneme göre postop 3. ve 6. aylarda ROET değerlerinde anlamlı artış, PUKİ düzeylerinde ise anlamlı bir azalış olduğu saptandı. Ayrıca hastaların postop 3. ve 6. ay karşılaştırmasında ROET düzeylerinde anlamlı artış, PUKİ skorlarında ise anlamlı azalma bulundu. Ek olarak, özellikle 6. ay PUKİ ve ROET düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel anlamlı negative korelasyon bulundu. Bu çalışma, açık teknik ile opere edilen preop ve postop dönemde bireylerin uyku kalitesi ile memnuniyetlerinin ameliyat tekniğine bağlı olarak değişiklik gösterip göstermediğini beraber ölçen literatürdeki ilk çalışma özelliği taşımaktadır. Sonuç olarak postop dönemde iki teknik de hastaların uyku kalitesinde ve memnuniyet düzeylerinde anlamlı artış sağladığı bulundu.

ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF SLEEP QUALITY AND RHINOPLASTY RESULTS IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING PRIMARY CLASSICAL RHINOPLASTY AND SEPTORHINOPLASTY The aim of this study is to evaluate the satisfaction and sleep quality of patients who underwent rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty performed with the open technique at the preoperative, postoperative 3rd month and postoperative 6th month, and to evaluate the relationship and correlation between them. For this purpose, individuals who applied to our clinic and met the rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty criteria and met the study conditions were included. The total number of samples is 59. 70% of the individuals participating in the study are women and 30% are men. Of the individuals participating in the study, 27 underwent rhinoplasty and 32 underwent septorhinoplasty. The surgeries were performed by the same team. Preoperative Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Rhinoplasty Results Evaluation-Turkish (ROET) questionnaire were applied to the individuals. The same questionnaires were re-administered to the patients at the 3rd and 6th months postoperatively. It was observed that rhinoplasty surgery (p=0.021) was statistically superior to septorhinoplasty surgery in the ROET values measured at the 6th postoperative month. In individuals who had both surgeries, a significant increase in ROET values and a significant decrease in PSQI levels were found in the 3rd and 6th months postoperatively compared to the preoperative period. In addition, a significant increase in ROET levels and a significant decrease in PSQI scores were found in the comparison of the patients' postoperative 3rd and 6th months. In addition, a statistically significant negative correlation was found, especially in the 6th month PSQI and ROET levels. This study is the first in the literature to measure whether the sleep quality and satisfaction of individuals operated on with open technique in the preoperative and postoperative periods vary depending on the surgical technique. As a result, it was found that both techniques provided a significant increase in the patients' sleep quality and satisfaction levels in the postoperative period.
