Özet
Arketipler, insana özgü davranış kalıplarıdır. Arketipler, nesilden nesile aktarılan ve dünyanın kuruluşundan itibaren tarihî çağlardan, toplumlardan ve ırklardan bağımsız olarak olaylara ve durumlara verilen benzer tepkilerdir. Bu durum, insanın kişisel geçmişiyle olduğu kadar türünün geçmişiyle de bağlantılı olduğunu gösterir. Jung'a göre sanatçı, atalarıyla olan psişik bağı çağının insanının anlayacağı biçimlere sokma sorumluluğunu üstlenen kişidir; bilinçli ya da bilinçsiz olarak arketipsel imge ve sembolleri eserlerinde gün yüzüne çıkarır. Arketipsel eleştiri yöntemi, en saf hâliyle mitlerde bulunan arketiplerin edebî eserlerde de çeşitli imge ve semboller vasıtasıyla tespitinin mümkün olduğunu ortaya koyar. Esere yönelik inceleme metotlarından olan arketipsel eleştiri yöntemi, eserin edebî değerinin ve okuyucuda oluşturduğu estetik hazzın arketiplerle ilişkili olduğunu savunur. Mustafa Necati Sepetçioğlu, tarihî romanlarıyla tanınan, hikâye ve tiyatro türlerinde de başarılı eserler kaleme alan Türk edebiyatının önemli yazarlarındandır. O, Türk tarihini ve millî değerleri gelecek nesillere öğretmenin gerekliliğine inanmış; bu amaçla da eserlerinde insan öznesini merkeze almıştır. Yazar, eserlerinde tarihî kahramanlarla birlikte yarattığı kurgusal karakterlerin duygu, düşünce, inanç ve kararlarını yönlendiren durumlara yoğunlaşarak millî bir bilinç oluşturmayı hedeflemiştir. Bu tez çalışmasında Sepetçioğlu'nun yayımlanmış hikâyeleri, romanları, tiyatroları ve çocuklar için kaleme aldığı destan uyarlamaları arketipsel eleştiri yöntemiyle tahlil edilmiş; arketipsel imge, sembol ve figürler, eserlerin teknik ve muhteva tespit edilmiştir. Çağlar öncesinin sesini günümüze taşıyan arketiplerin yazarın eserlerine nasıl ve ne kadar yansıtıldığı değerlendirilmiş; bunların eserlere esetik yönden katkısı ortaya konmuştur.

Archetypes are behavioural patterns specific to the human. They are paradigmatic responses to events and situations that have been transmitted from generation to generation, independent of historical eras, societies, and races since the dawn of the world. This suggests that individuals are connected not only to their personal past but also to the history of their species. The artist, as the one who undertakes the responsibility of translating the psychic connection with ancestors into forms understandable to contemporary humans, consciously or unconsciously brings archetypal images and symbols to the forefront in their works. The archetypal criticism method based on Jung's archetype theory asserts that it is possible to identify archetypes in literary works through various images and symbols, like those found in myths and epics in their purest forms. This method also argues that the literary value of the work and the aesthetic pleasure it creates in the reader are related to archetypes. Mustafa Necati Sepetçioğlu is a prominent Turkish author known for his historical novels and successful works in the genres of short stories and theatre. He believes in the necessity of teaching Turkish history and national values to future generations. To achieve this goal, he focuses on creating a national consciousness by centring the human subject in his works and delving into the situations that guide the emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and decisions of fictional characters created alongside historical heroes. In this thesis, Sepetçioğlu's published stories, novels, plays, and epic adaptations for children were analysed using the archetypal criticism method. Archetypal images, symbols, and figures were identified in the technique and content of the works, and it was evaluated how and to what extent the archetypes reflecting the voice of past are portrayed in the author's works.
