Özet
Araştırma yoğun bakım hemşirelerine yönelik Ekstrakorporeal Membran Oksijenasyonu (ECMO) eğitim programının geliştirilmesi ve etkinliğinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma tek gruplu, ön test test-son test modeline dayalı yarı deneysel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma Aralık 2023- Şubat 2024 tarihleri arasında Ankara'da bir kamu hastanesinde çalışan 50 yoğun bakım hemşiresi ile yürütülmüştür. Verilerin toplanmasında tanıtıcı bilgi formu, bilgi değerlendirme formu, ECMO Uygulanan Hastaların Bakımında Yoğun Bakım Hemşirelerinin Etkinliğine İlişkin Öz Yeterlilik Algısı Ölçeği ve eğitim programının değerlendirilmesine yönelik görüşler kullanılmıştır. ECMO eğitim programı; yapılandırmacı yaklaşım temel alınarak, ADDİE, PEARLS ve Kirkpatrick yaklaşımı temelinde geliştirilmiş olup, teorik eğitim, vaka tartışmaları ve simülasyon uygulamalarını içermektedir. Eğitim öncesinde ön test uygulanmış, eğitim programı sonrasında ve eğitimden bir ay sonra son test uygulaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız gruplar t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularında ECMO eğitim programı ile hemşirelerin bilgi puanlarında ve öz yeterlilik algı düzeylerinde anlamlı artış saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin eğitim programının etkinliğine ilişkin görüşleri ile eğitim programının etkili ve uygulanabilir olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak yoğun bakım hemşirelerine yönelik geliştirilen ECMO eğitim programının yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin bilgi ve öz yeterliliklerini arttırmada etkin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu bağlamda geliştirilen ECMO Eğitim programının uygulanma ve sürdürülebilirliğini sağlamak için hizmet için eğitimler ve sertifika programlarının müfredatlarına entegre edilmesi önem taşımaktadır.

The study was conducted to develop an Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) training programme for intensive care nurses and to evaluate its effectiveness. The study is a quasi-experimental study based on a one-group, pretest-posttest model. The study was conducted with 50 intensive care nurses working in a public hospital in Ankara between December 2023 and February 2024. Introductory information form, knowledge assessment form, Self-Efficacy Perception Scale regarding the effectiveness of intensive care nurses in the care of patients with ECMO and opinions on the evaluation of the training programme were used to collect the data. ECMO training programme was developed on the basis of constructivist approach, ADDIE, PEARLS and Kirkpatrick approach and included theoretical training, case discussions and simulation applications. A pre-test was administered before the training, and a post-test was administered after the training programme and one month after the training. Independent groups t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used to analyse the data. In the findings of the study, a significant increase was found in the knowledge scores and self-efficacy perception levels of the nurses with the ECMO training programme. It was determined that the training programme was effective and applicable with the opinions of the nurses regarding the effectiveness of the training programme. As a result, it was concluded that the ECMO training programme developed for intensive care nurses was effective in increasing the knowledge and self-efficacy of intensive care nurses. In this context, it is important to integrate the developed ECMO training programme into the curricula of service training and certification programmes to ensure its implementation and sustainability.
