Özet
Bu araştırmada, Whitehead'in organizma felsefesi temel alınarak epistemolojik ve ontolojik süreç felsefesi konu edilmektedir. Araştırma konusu itibariyle, felsefe tarihinin düşünme ve zamana ilişkin gelişimsel süreci giriş kısmı olacak şekilde inşa edilmiştir. Araştırma boyunca incelenecek temel kavramlar, çeşitli kaynaklardan elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda tanıtılmış ve konunun sağlam bir zeminde tartışılarak sonuca götürülmesi hedeflenmiştir. Araştırmanın gelişme bölümü diyebileceğimiz ikinci ve üçüncü bölümlerde, algılayan özneye ilişkin temel kavramlar, insan bilgisinin sınırları içinde zamanın ve mekânın yeri, var olma ve yok olma arasındaki süreç fikri, Whitehead'in temel kavramları dahilinde ele alınmış, çeşitli fikirler üzerinde tartışılmış ve açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Yaptığım araştırmalar çerçevesinde, süreç geleneğinin Antik Yunan düşüncesine kadar uzandığı ve tarihsel olarak gelişerek ilerlediği görülmektedir. Her ne kadar güçlü bir tarihsel arka plana sahip olsa da süreç geleneğinin yirminci yüzyılın ilk başlarında dinamik bir yapı kazandığını belirtmem gerekir. Özellikle Analitik Felsefe ve Whitehead'in süreç kavramına yüklediği epistemik ve ontolojik anlam, onu gerçekliğin mihenk taşı haline getirmiştir. Zaman ve mekân, insanın hayatının merkezinde olan var olma ve yok olma sürecini kapsayan unsurlar olarak görülmektedir. Süreç düşüncesi, hakikati kavrama ve gerçekliği analiz etme noktasında temel olmayı hedeflemektedir. Sonuç olarak, düşünmenin ve zamanın yaşamın her alanında etkin bir şekilde rol oynaması, varlığın özünün ve bilgisinin anlaşılmasında da önemli bir yere sahip olduğunu göstermektedir.

This research aims to develop and explain process philosophy both epistemologically and ontologically, based on Whitehead's organism philosophy. The study is constructed as an introduction to the developmental process of thinking and time in the history of philosophy in terms of the research subject. The basic concepts to be examined throughout the research are introduced using data obtained from various sources, aiming to discuss the subject on a solid foundation and reach a conclusion. In the second and third sections, referred to as the development sections of the research, the basic concepts of the perceiving subject, the place of time and space within the boundaries of human knowledge, and the idea of the process between existence and extinction are discussed within Whitehead's basic concepts. Various ideas are debated and expanded upon. In the context of my research, I can say that the tradition of process dates back to Ancient Greek thought and has developed historically. Although it has a strong historical background, the process tradition gained a dynamic structure in the early twentieth century. Especially, the epistemic and ontological meanings attributed to the concept of process by Analytic Philosophy and Whitehead made it the touchstone of reality. Time and space are seen as elements at the center of human life, encompassing the process of existence and extinction. Process thinking aims to be the foundation for grasping the truth and analyzing reality. In conclusion, the active role that thinking and time play in all areas of our lives from the moment we are born shows that they hold an important place in understanding the essence and knowledge of being.
