Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, otellerdeki doluluk oranının artmasındaki en büyük etken olarak görülen her şey dahil sisteminin bölgede bulunan işletmeler üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Manavgat/Side'de bulunan ve tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 427 işletme çalışanı ile yüz yüze görüşerek anket yapılmıştır. Anket formu iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölüm işletmeye yönelik sorulardan oluşmakta, ikinci bölüm ise her şey dahil otel konseptinin Side'de bulunan yerel işletmeler üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemeye yönelik sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Uygulanan anketler ile elde edilen veriler, sosyal bilimler için geliştirilmiş olan SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) 22.0 paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde standart sapma, aritmetik ortalama, bağımsız örneklem t testi, varyans analizi (ANOVA), korelasyon analizi, sidak ve Tamhane T2 testleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; Side'de bulunan işletme çalışanları turistlerin ortalama harcamalarındaki düşüşün her şey dahil tatil sisteminden kaynaklandığı, uygulama kaldırılırsa işletmelerine gelen turist sayısında artış olacağı ve uygulamanın devam etmemesi gerektiği hususunda ortak görüşe sahip oldukları saptanmıştır. Ayrıca her şey dahil sistemi turistlerin otel dışına çıkma eğilimlerini azaltarak yerel halk ve işletmelerle olan sosyal etkileşimleri sınırlamaktadır. Çevresel etkiler konusunda da otellerin yoğun kaynak kullanımı ve israf, çevresel sürdürülebilirlik açısından endişelere yol açmaktadır. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda, yerel ekonomiyi ve işletmeleri destekleyecek stratejilerin geliştirilmesi son derece önem taşımaktadır. Yerel yönetimler ve turizm otoriteleri, bu tatil sisteminin olumsuz etkilerini minimize etmek ve yerel işletmeleri desteklemek için teşvikler sunması, otel ve yerel işletmeler arasında iş birliği sağlanması ve turistlerin yerel kültür ve işletmelerle etkileşimini artıracak etkinlikler düzenlenmesi gerektiği belirtilmektedir.

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the all-inclusive system, which is considered the biggest factor in increasing hotel occupancy rates, on local businesses in the region. For this purpose, a survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 427 business employees in Manavgat/Side, who were selected using a random sampling method. The survey form consists of two sections. The first section includes questions directed at the business, while the second section contains questions aimed at determining the effects of the all-inclusive hotel concept on local businesses in Side. The data obtained from the administered surveys were analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) 22.0 software package, developed for social sciences. In the analysis of the data, standard deviation, arithmetic mean, independent samples t-test, variance analysis (ANOVA), correlation analysis, Sidak and Tamhane T2 tests were applied. According to the research findings, it has been determined that business employees in Side attribute the decrease in average tourist spending to the all-inclusive holiday system and agree that if the system were abolished, there would be an increase in the number of tourists visiting their establishments, indicating a common consensus. Additionally, the all-inclusive system reduces tourists' tendency to venture outside the hotel, thus limiting social interactions with the local community and businesses. In terms of environmental effects, the intensive use of resources and waste by hotels raises concerns regarding environmental sustainability. In light of these findings, it is of utmost importance to develop strategies that support the local economy and businesses. Local governments and tourism authorities are urged to offer incentives to minimize the negative impacts of this vacation system and support local businesses, foster collaboration between hotels and local businesses, and organize activities to enhance tourists' interaction with local culture and businesses.
