Özet
Her gün değişen ve gelişen yaşam rutinleri, bu değişime uyum sağlayacak mekânlara ihtiyacı beraberinde getirmektedir. Modern toplumların hızlı değişen dinamik yapısı mekânlara duyulan ihtiyacın sürekli olarak evrilmesine sebep olmaktadır. Toplumun değişken istek ve ihtiyaçlarına hızlı ve yenilikçi çözümleri geçici mekân üretimi ile sağlamak mümkündür. Küreselleşme, teknolojik gelişmeler ve hızlı kentleşme, küresel sağlık sorunları, toplumsal ve ekonomik problemler geleneksel yapıların yetersiz kaldığı durumlar yaratmaktadır. Geleneksel mekânlara alternatif bir cevap oluşturan geçici mekânlar alanı istek ve/veya ihtiyaç süresince işgal ederek, kullanım süresi dolduktan sonra kaldırılabilir, taşınabilir veya dönüşebilir nitelikte tasarlanmakta ve üretilmektedir. Tüketimin hızlı olması, küresel salgın sırasında ve sonrasında geçici mekânlara ihtiyaç duyulması, toplumun yaşama şeklinin değişken olması gibi sebeplerden kaynaklı olarak pop up mekân üretimi hızla önem kazanmaktadır. Üretilecek mekânın ihtiyaç, konum, hedef kitle, kullanım süresi vb. gibi analizleri yapıldıktan sonra hangi özelliklerde üretileceği belirlenerek, amaca yönelik esnek çözümler sunan pop up mekânlar hızlı, kolay ve ekonomik olmaları sebebi ile ticari, kültürel, kamusal, toplumsal ve afet durumlarında çeşitli biçim ve işlevlerde oluşturulabilmektedir. Geçici, esnek, etkileşime izin veren özelliklerde olması pop up mekânların kullanım alanlarını genişletmekte ve günümüz tüketim dünyasında güncel olmayanın piyasada barınamadığı rekabetçi sistem içerisinde marka, sanatçı, kurum ve kuruluşların tercih ettiği bir mekân üretim biçimi olarak kullanılmaktadır. Aynı zamanda pop up mekânların hızlı ve erişilebilir sistemde kurulması acil / afet / ihtiyaç durumlarında pratik bir geçici müdahale sunmaktadır. Araştırma sürecinde pop up mekânların farklı kullanım alanlarındaki yenilikçi müdahaleleri, esnek ve hızlı çözümleri, açığa çıkış biçimleri analiz edilmiştir. Geçici olmasının getirdiği dikkat çekme, yaratıcılık, deneyimsel alan yaratma gibi özellikleri sayesinde toplumun dinamik dünyasında etkili mekânsal ortamların çeşitli alanlardaki uygulanabilirliği ve etkileri üzerine yapılan bu çalışma geçici pop up mekânların önemi ve potansiyelini aktarmayı hedeflemektedir. Bu tez çalışmasında, geçici mekânsal müdahaleler arasında yer alan pop up mekân üretiminin geleneksel mekânlara alternatif olarak kurgulanmasının avantajlarını belirlemek amacı ile pop up mekânların özellikleri, sınıflandırılması ve seçilen mekânların iç mekân analizleri aktarılmıştır.

Everyday changing and evolving life routines bring with them the need for spaces that will adapt to this change. The rapidly changing dynamic structure of modern societies causes the need for spaces to constantly evolve. It is possible to provide fast and innovative solutions to the changing demands and needs of society through the production of temporary spaces. Globalization, technological developments and rapid urbanization, global health problems, social and economic problems create situations where traditional structures are insufficient. Temporary spaces, which constitute an alternative answer to traditional spaces, are designed and produced by occupying the space for the duration of demand and/or need, and can be removed, moved or transformed after the expiration of the usage period. Pop up space production is rapidly gaining importance due to reasons such as rapid consumption, the need for temporary spaces during and after the global pandemic, and the changing way society lives. After analyzing the need, location, target audience, duration of use, etc. of the space to be produced, the features to be produced are determined and pop up spaces that offer flexible solutions for the purpose can be created in various forms and functions in commercial, cultural, public, social and disaster situations because they are fast, easy and economical. The fact that they are temporary, flexible and allow interaction expands the usage areas of pop up spaces and is used as a form of space production preferred by brands, artists, institutions and organizations in the competitive system where the outdated cannot survive in the market in today's consumption world. At the same time, the establishment of pop up spaces in a fast and accessible system offers a practical temporary intervention in emergency / disaster / need situations. In the research process, innovative interventions, flexible and fast solutions, and the ways of emergence of pop up spaces in different areas of use were analyzed. This study on the applicability and effects of effective spatial environments in various fields in the dynamic world of the society thanks to their features such as attracting attention, creativity, creating experiential space brought about by their temporary nature aims to convey the importance and potential of temporary pop up spaces. In this thesis, in order to determine the advantages of pop up space production, which is one of the temporary spatial interventions, as an alternative to traditional spaces, the characteristics of pop up spaces, classification and interior analysis of selected spaces are presented.
