Özet
Dil ve konuşma terapistlerinin, özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde verilen hizmetlerde sürece eşlik eden psikolog ve psikolojik danışmanlar ile yapacağı iş birliği dil ve konuşma bozukluklarının erken tespit edilmesinde ve müdahale sürecinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezinde çalışan psikolog ve psikolojik danışmanların cinsiyet, yaş, hizmet süresi ve dil ve konuşma bozukluğu öğrencisi bulunması değişkenleri göz önünde bulundurularak dil ve konuşma bozukluğuna yönelik tutum ve bilgi düzeylerinin ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma, Marmara Bölgesi'ndeki, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim döneminde aktif olarak çalışan ve çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden 174 psikolog ve 106 psikolojik danışmandan oluşan örneklem ile yürütülmüştür. Katılımcılara“Kişisel ve Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu”ve“Dil ve Konuşma Bozukluklarına Yönelik Tutum ve Bilgi Anketi”çevrimiçi ortamda uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde çalışan psikologların ve psikolojik danışmanların dil ve konuşma bozukluğu olan çocukların akademik/sosyal başarısına ve dil ve konuşma terapisi gereksinime yönelik tutum alt boyut puan ortalamalarının ve toplam puan ortalamalarının yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Psikolojik danışman ve psikologlarda yaş, tecrübe süresi, çalıştıkları kurumda konuşma bozukluğu olan çocuk olup olma değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir fark olmadığı tespit edilmiştir (p>0,05). Çalışmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezinde hizmet alan dil ve konuşma bozukluğu olan öğrenciler için belli aralıklarla, dil ve konuşma terapisti ve kurumda görev alan psikolog veya psikolojik danışmanların bir araya geldiği, bireyin terapi süreci hakkında görüşüldüğü önleyici ve müdahaleci çalışmalara ihtiyacı olup olmadığının belirlendiği multidisipliner çalışmayı destekleyecek toplantılar düzenlenmesi önerilmektedir.

The cooperation of language and speech therapists with psychologists and psychological counselors who accompany the process in the services provided in special education and rehabilitation centers plays an important role in the early detection of language and speech disorders and in the intervention process. The aim of the study is to reveal the attitudes and knowledge levels of psychologists and psychological counselors working in a special education and rehabilitation center towards language and speech disorders, taking into account the variables of gender, age, length of service and the presence of students with language and speech disorders. The study was conducted with 174 psychologists and 106 psychological registrants who worked continuously in the 2023-2024 academic year and agreed to participate voluntarily in the Marmara Region, affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.“Personal and Sociodemographic Information Form”and“Attitude and Knowledge Survey towards Language and Speech Disorders”were prepared online for the participants. As a result of the study, it was determined that the attitude subdimension averages and total score averages of psychologists and psychological counselors working in special education and rehabilitation centers towards the academic/social success of children with language and speech disorders and the need for language and speech therapy were high. It has been determined that there is no significant difference between psychological counselors and psychologists according to the variables of age, length of experience, and whether there are children with speech disorders in the institution where they work (p>0,05). In line with the results of the study, for students with language and speech disorders who receive service in a special education and rehabilitation center, a multidisciplinary approach is held at regular intervals, where the language and speech therapist and the psychologist or psychological counselors working in the institution come together, the individual is discussed about the therapy process and it is determined whether he needs preventive and interventional studies. It is recommended to organize meetings to support the study.
