Özet
Ill ÖZET Günümüzde kaynakların en iyi şekilde kullanılması rekabet çevresinde firmaların en önemli hedefi haline gelmiştir. Müşterilere kaliteli ve ucuz ürün sunmak her firmanın ana amacıdır. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda Toplam Kalite, Tam Zamanında Üretim Sistemi, Basit (Yalın) üretim, Toyota Üretim Sistemi gibi yeni kavramlar ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmanın hedefi Tam Zamanında Üretim Sistemine gelene kadar geçen üretim sistemlerinin karakteristik özellikleri ve bu sistemi oluşturan parçalar hakkında bilgi vermektir. Ana amaç, Tam Zamanında Üretim Sisteminin tüm dünyadaki işleyişini ve bu sistemin kullanıldığı ülkelerde, firmaların ülke ekonomisine yaptığı katkıların incelenmesidir.

ABSTRACT The most important target of the companies in the competition environment is to use the sources in the best way. The main target of the companies is to supply the cheap and full of quality products to the customers. These can be arranged like Total Quality Control (TQC), Just In Time Manufacturing, Simple Production, Toyota Production System etc. In this study, Just in Time Manufacturing system is analyzed. The aim of this study is to inform the historical background, the characteristics and the components of JIT Production System. The main purpose of this study is to observe the usage of JIT system all around the world, and the supplement to the economy of the countries that JIT is used.
