Özet
Günümüzde teknolojideki hızlı değişimlerin eğitim alanında da yeniliklere yol açması kaçınılmazdır. Özellikle öğrenme ortamının değiştirilmesi öğrenci değişiminin önemli bir parçasıdır. Öğrencilerin bilgiyi edinmekten ziyade kafalarındaki bilgiyi anlayarak farklı çalışma alanlarına aktarabilmeleri sağlanmalıdır. Eğitimde araç ve gereç kullanımı yapılandırmacı öğrenme modelinin hazırladığı sonuçlara kısa vadede ulaşmak ve öğrenmeyi kalıcı hale getirmektir. Önemli görülen modellerden biri de öğretmenlerin öğrenme modelinin gereklerine uygun şekilde rehberlik ettiği, öğrencilerin öğrenme sürecinde aktif rol aldığı, öğrenci merkezli olduğu yapılandırmacı öğrenme modelidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma kapsamında 5.sınıf öğrencilerinin“Birey ve Toplum”öğrenme alanında çizgi roman kullanımına ilişkin görüşlerinin toplanması ve bu doğrultuda tespitlerde bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın araştırma ekibini, 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılı birinci döneminde Hatay İli İskenderun İlçesinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı 5. Sınıf seviyesinde 20 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada veriler araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın yöntemler bölümünde araştırmanın metodolojisine ilişkin bilgiler yer alırken, bulgular bölümünde ise saha çalışması sonucunda elde edilen verilerin analizi ve yorumlanması yer almaktadır. Bulgular, kişisel ve sosyal bilgiler alanlarındaki öğretimde eğitici karikatürlerin kullanılmasının öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler derslerine yönelik tutumlarını olumlu yönde etkileyebileceğini göstermektedir. Bulgulara dayalı olarak çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The rapid technological advancements today inevitably lead to innovations in the field of education. Particularly, the transformation of learning environments is a critical component of student development. It is essential that students are enabled not only to acquire information but also to understand and transfer this knowledge across different domains. The utilization of educational tools and materials aims to achieve the outcomes prescribed by the constructivist learning model in the short term and to ensure the permanence of learning. One of the significant models in this context is the constructivist learning model, where teachers provide guidance in accordance with the model's requirements, students actively engage in the learning process, and the approach is student-centered. In line with this objective, the study aims to collect the views of 5th-grade students on the use of comic books in the“Individual and Society”learning area and to derive relevant insights. The research sample comprises 20 students at the 5th-grade level in the İskenderun District of Hatay Province, enrolled in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education during the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Data for this study were gathered using a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. The methodology section of the research outlines the study's methodological framework, while the findings section presents the analysis and interpretation of the data obtained from the fieldwork. The results indicate that the use of educational cartoons in teaching personal and social studies can positively affect students' attitudes towards social studies lessons. Based on these findings, various recommendations have been proposed.
