Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı ülkemizde uygulanmakta olan pragmatizm temelli ilerlemecilik eğitim felsefesinin avantajlarını, dezavantajlarını, uygulanamayan taraflarını, uyarlanması ve değiştirilmesi gereken yönlerini açığa çıkarmaktır. Eğitim sistemimizin değişim ve gelişim dinamiğini göz önünde bulundurarak mevcut halini inceleme ve eleştirme yoluyla eğitim öğretimin dönüştürülmesi mümkün olan en iyi haline ulaşmayı hedeflemekteyiz. Eğitim felsefesi eğitim sisteminin temel dayanaklarından biridir. Eğitim sistemi ve eğitim sisteminin ögeleri ile eğitim felsefesinin tutarlılığı eğitim öğretim sürecinin planlama, yönetim ve kararlılığı için ehemmiyet taşır. Günümüzde özü ile oynanarak sürekli değiştirilmek suretiyle oluşturulan eğitim sisteminin zorlama bir tutum ile Türk eğitim anlayışı üzerine giydirilmeye çalışılması ne yazık ki vasat bir durumdur. Olmasını hayal ettiğimiz eğitim sistemini oluşturmak için ülkemizin gerçekliğini göz önünde bulundurmamız gerekmektedir. Eğitim sisteminin iyi oluşu ile bu sistemi ülkemizin iyi taşıyabilmesi aynı anlama gelmemektedir. İhtiyacımız olan şey tutarlı, istikrarlı, başarılı ve milli bir eğitimi oluşturmaktır. Bu hedef doğrultusunda çalışmamda eğitim felsefesi üzerine yapılan güncel çalışmalar ve kaynaklara başvurulmuştur. Ülkemizin ekonomik, toplumsal ve sosyal açılardan mevcut durumu ve eğitim sistemimizin temelleri eğitim felsefeleri bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuç bölümünde ele alınan konular hakkındaki inceleme ve analizler üzerine eğitim sistemimizin pragmatist çizgide ilerlemek amacıyla gösterdiği çabanın ülkemizin yapısına göre uyarlanabilmesi için önermelerde bulunulmuştur.

The aim of this study is to reveal the advantages, disadvantages, impracticable aspects, aspects that need to be adapted and changed of the pragmatism-based progressivism educational philosophy that is being applied in our country. Taking into account the dynamics of change and development of our education system, we aim to achieve the best possible transformation of education and training by examining and criticizing its current state. Philosophy of education is one of the basic foundations of the education system. The consistency of the educational system and the elements of the educational system and the educational philosophy is important for the planning, management and stability of the educational process. Unfortunately, it is a mediocre situation that the education system created by constantly changing by playing with its essence today is trying to be dressed up on the Turkish educational understanding with a coercive attitude. In order to create the education system we dream of, we need to take into account the reality of our country. The fact that the education system is good and that our country can carry this system well does not mean the same. What we need is to create a consistent, stable, successful and national education. In line with this goal, current studies and sources on the philosophy of education have been applied in my work. The current situation of our country in economic, social and social terms and the foundations of our education system have been considered in the context of educational philosophies. Upon the examination and analysis of the issues discussed in the conclusion section of the study, suggestions were made in order to adapt the efforts of our education system in order to move along the pragmatist line according to the structure of our country.
