Özet
Bu tez çalışması, Türkiye'de özel kurslarda çağdaş dans / modern dans alanında uygulanmakta olan mevcut kurs müfredatını geliştirmek ve günümüz ihtiyaçlarına cevap verecek yeni bir kurs müfredatı örneği önermek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma, 10-18 yaş arası kursiyerlere yönelik olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı, gelişime açık, detaylı ve modüler yapıda bir kurs eğitim programı için gerekli temelleri oluşturmaktır. Tezin amacı olan; başlangıç seviyesi çağdaş dans kurs müfredatı önerisi, uygulamalı örneklerle oluşturulmuş ve diğer seviyelere model oluşturabilmesi hedefiyle detaylandırılmıştır. Bu müfredat önerisi, kurs katılımcılarının çağdaş dans tekniği, doğaçlama ve performans becerileri ile kompozisyon ve koreografi yeteneklerini kinestetik ve somatik yaklaşımlar doğrultusunda geliştiren bütüncül bir bakış açısı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma metodolojisi, ulusal ve uluslararası dans eğitim içerikleri örnekleri içermektedir. Türkiye genelinde dans kurslarında uygulanan müfredat, genellikle T.C. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) tarafından onaylanan Modern Dans Kurs Programı / Müfredatı'dır. Bu müfredat güncel dans eğitiminde ihtiyaç duyulan bütüncül yaklaşım açısından da yetersiz kalmakta, somatik teorilerin hareket metotlarına entegre edilmesini odağında tutmamaktadır. Modern dans ve çağdaş dans iki farklı dans ekolüdür. Farklı eğitim odağı bulunmaktadır. Danışmanım Prof. Dr. Tuğçe Ulugün Tuna'nın ders notu;“Modern Dans akımı sanat ve dans tarihinde 1900-1980 yılları aralığına referans verir. Özellikle Amerika ve Avrupa'daki dans sanatçılarının, estetik stilleri belirli olan Modern Dans koreograflarının hareketi yönlendirme ekollerini ve metotlarını içerir. Graham, Cunningham, Horton vb. Çağdaş dans sanatı ise günümüzün, çağımızın sanatıdır. Bedeni bütünsel olarak ele alır, beden zihin enerji uyumunun oluşturulması ve bu uyumun sürdürülebilir olması hedeflenir. Bu nedenle yaratıcılık ve somatik teoriler rehberliğinde, kinestetik bilgi ve kinestetik algının inşa edilmesi, geliştirilmesi yanı sıra bireysel yaklaşımlar ve yaratıcılık her zaman eğitimin ve eğitim sürecinin odağındadır. Beden bütünlüğü ve dans icracılığı sadece şekilsel olarak yönlendirilmez, içsel duyumsama, hareketin tavrı ve hareketin niyeti de değerlidir.”Çalışma, kurs eğitmenlerinin de konservatuvarların ilgili alanlarından üniversite mezunu olması gerekliliğini vurgularken, program oluşturma kaynakları ve kursiyerler için değerlendirme yöntemleri sunmaktadır. Bu tez çalışması, bir yandan Türkiye'deki“Modern Dans Kurs Programı”adı altında uygulanan müfredatın güncellenmesi gerekliliğini savunurken, ihtiyaç duyulması halinde kurs eğitmenlerine dans eğitimi çerçevesinde güncel bir perspektif sunmayı ve örnek teşkil edebilecek çağdaş dans kurs eğitim müfredatı önerisini, T.C. MEB onaylı“Seviyeli Bale Temel Eğitimi Kurs Programı”nın şeklen ve yapısal özellikleri irdelenmiş, çağdaş dans eğitimi için üç seviyeli bir kurs müfredatı oluşturulmuştur.

This thesis aims to enhance the existing course curriculum in contemporary dance / modern dance within private courses in Turkey and to propose a new course curriculum example that addresses current needs. The study is designed for trainees between the ages of 10-18. The research objective is to establish the necessary foundations for a detailed and modular course training program that is open to development. The thesis' primary goal, a beginner-level contemporary dance course curriculum proposal, has been created with practical examples and elaborated with the aim of serving as a model for other levels. This curriculum proposal aims to offer a holistic perspective that develops course participants' contemporary dance technique, improvisation and performance skills, as well as composition and choreography abilities in line with kinesthetic and somatic approaches. The research methodology includes examples of national and international dance education content. The curriculum generally applied in dance courses across Turkey is the Modern Dance Course Program / Curriculum approved by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey (MoNE / MEB). This curriculum is insufficient in terms of the holistic approach needed in contemporary dance education and does not focus on integrating somatic theories into movement methods. Modern dance and contemporary dance are two distinct dance schools with different educational focuses. As stated in the lecture notes of my advisor, Prof. Dr. Tuğçe Ulugün Tuna:“The Modern Dance movement refers to the period between 1900-1980 in the history of art and dance. It includes the movement directing schools and methods of Modern Dance choreographers with specific aesthetic styles, especially dance artists in America and Europe. Graham, Cunningham, Horton etc. Contemporary dance art is the art of today, of our age. It treats the body holistically, aiming to create body-mind-energy harmony and to sustain this harmony. For this reason, under the guidance of creativity and somatic theories, building and developing kinesthetic knowledge and kinesthetic perception, as well as individual approaches and creativity are always at the center of education and the educational process. The integrity of the body and the performance of dance are not only formally guided, but the inner sensation, the attitude of the movement and the intention of the movement are also valuable.”The study emphasizes the necessity for course instructors to be university graduates from relevant conservatory fields and provides resources for creating programs and evaluation methods for trainees. This thesis argues for the need to update the curriculum applied under the name of“Modern Dance Course Program”in Turkey. Additionally, it aims to provide course instructors with an up-to-date perspective within the framework of dance education, if needed. To propose a contemporary dance course training curriculum that can serve as an example, the formal and structural features of the“Leveled Ballet Basic Training Course Program”approved by the MoNE / MEB were examined. Based on this examination, a three-level course curriculum for contemporary dance education was created.
