Özet
Hafızlık eğitimi, yüzyıllardır farklı ülkelerde ve yöntemlerle uygulanan önemli bir eğitim sistemidir. Bu tezde, hafızlık eğitiminin ilk vahiy süreciyle başlayıp günümüze kadar süren tarihçesi, uygulanan yöntemler ve günümüzdeki örneklerden biri olan örgün eğitimle birlikte yürütülen hafızlık projesi Şehit Ömer Halisdemir İmam Hatip Ortaokulu kapsamında incelenecektir. Araştırmanın amacı, din eğitimi alanında önemli bir yere sahip olan hafızlık eğitiminin, Şırnak ili Cizre ilçesindeki Şehit Ömer Halisdemir İmam Hatip Ortaokulu'nda örgün eğitimle entegre edilmesinin din eğitimi sürecine olan etkilerini değerlendirmektir. Çalışma kapsamında, örgün eğitimle birlikte yürütülen hafızlık projesinin farklı yönleri ele alınarak, katılımcıların dinî bilgi ve uygulamalarındaki gelişim, proje sürecinin işleyişi ve genel etkileri detaylı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın önemi, hafızlık eğitiminin modern eğitim sistemlerine entegre edilmesi sonucunda ortaya çıkan etkilerin incelenmesine dayanmaktadır. Veriler, anket ve doküman analizi yöntemleriyle toplanmış olup, proje sürecine katılan 251 öğrenci, 28 öğretmen ve 21 Kur'an kursu öğreticisinin görüşlerinden faydalanılmıştır.

Hifz (Qur'an memorization) education has been practiced for centuries in various countries and through different methods. In this thesis, the history of hifz education, starting from the first revelation and continuing to the present day, its methods, and one of its contemporary applications—the hifz project integrated with formal education—will be evaluated within the context of Şehit Ömer Halisdemir İmam Hatip Secondary School. The aim of this research is to evaluate the impact of integrating hifz education, a special program in the field of religious education, with formal education at Şehit Ömer Halisdemir İmam Hatip Secondary School in Cizre, Şırnak, and to assess its effects on the religious education process. The study examines various aspects of the hifz project conducted at the school, with a focus on the participants' development in terms of religious knowledge and practice, how the project process was carried out, the participants' experiences, and the overall impact of the project. The significance of this research lies in its examination of the integration of hifz education into modern educational systems and the effects of this combination. Data was collected through surveys and document analysis, utilizing the insights of 251 students, 28 teachers, and 21 Qur'an course instructors involved in the project.
