TÜRKÇE ÖZET «12 EYLÜL HAREKÂTININ TÜRK ŞİİRİNE SOSYOLOJİK YANSIMALARI“ ADLI TEZİN ÖZETİ Türkiye'de siyasî kutuplaşmanın dorukta olduğu bir dönemde gerçekleşen 12 Eylül askerî harekât, toplumsal hayatı bir anda değiştirmiştir. İç savaş atmosferinin sona ermesi olumlu bir değişimdir, fakat sıkıyönetimin insanlara getirdiği zorunluluklar uzun zaman toplumu huzursuz etmiştir. İşte bu çalışma, şiirin siyasal söylem için bir araç olduğu 1980 öncesi ile siyasetten uzak kalmaya çalıştığı 1980 sonrası durumunu ortaya koyma çabasıdır. 1980'den sonra şiir, slogandan ve mücadele sözlerinden sıyrılmış, toplumcu şâir yerini içe dönük imge ve ironi şâirine bırakmıştır. Bu çalışmada edebiyat sosyolojisinin ilkelerine göre, bir toplumsal olayın ”şâir“e, ”şiir“e, ”okuyucu“ya ve ”basın-yayın“a tesirleri sırasıyla incelenmiştir. Harekâtın tesirlerinin en sıcak hissedildiği saha ”basın-yayın olmuştur. Gazetelerin büyük bir kısmı 12 Eylül'den önce ideolojilerin yansıtıldığı mücadele temalı şiirler yayımlarken, 12 Eylül'den sonra sayfalarında çiçek, tabiat ve aşk şiirlerine yer vermişlerdir. Eski şiirlere devam eden gazetelerin bir müddet sonra yayımı durdurulmuştur. Kitap yayımlarında ise şâir de yayımcı da daha fazla düşünme imkânı bulmuş ve otosansüre başvurmuştur. 1980'den sonra ortaya herhangi bir şiir akımı çıkmamıştır. Türk şiiri 1980 öncesi on-on beş yıl popüler olan toplumcu şiire alternatif bir şiiri, 1980'den sonra ortaya koyar. Bu dönem az fakat seçkin bir şiir okuyucusu da ortaya çıkarmıştır. 323

ingilizce özet THE DISSERTATION TITLED“SOCIOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE SEPTEMBER 12, 1980 COUP ON TURKISH POETRY”ABSTRACT September 12. 1980 coup d'etat -realized at a time when the political polarization was at the apex in Turkey- transformed the Turkish society almost at an instant That the atmosphere of a civil war came to an end is certainly a positive change but the constrainsts imposed by the martial law disturbed the society for a long-time. This present study is an attempt to formulate an explanation for the pre - 1980 era during which the poetry tended to be a means for political expression and the post- 1980 era during which poetry has been deatched from politics. After 1980, the poetry has been stripped of the slogans and struggle with the socialist poetry giving way to a sense of poetry with introverted images and ironical overtones. In this study have been handled and evaluated the effects of a certain sociological phenomenon upon the“poem”,“poef ', ”poetry reader“ and ”the pres and publication organs" according to the principles of the literary sociology. The reverberations of the coup d'etat have been most dramatically reflected on the press and publication organs. While a mojority of newspapers used to publish poems of strife and struggle within the context of ideologies before September 12; the same newspapers gave coverage to poems of pastoral and love themes. After Sept 12. Those newspapers still covering the poems in the same vein were barred from publication after a while. The book publishers and poets took their time to think and resorted to self- censure. No new poetry movements have emerged after 1980. Turkish poetry has devised an alternative sense of poetry after 1980 against the socialist poetry, being popular for nearly a decade or two before 1980. This period has produced a small but nonetheless a distinguished circle of poetry readership. 322
