Özet
Bu çalışmada Covid-19 sürecindeki uzaktan eğitim uygulamalarının özel eğitim gerektiren öğrencilerin sosyal beceri gelişimlerine etkisinin özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin görüşlerine göre belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yapılan çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan fenomenolojik (olgu bilim) çalışmasıdır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yıllarında KKTC Milli Eğitim ve Kültür Bakanlığına bağlı devlet ilkokullarında çalışan 20 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu,“kolayda örnekleme”ile belirlenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan formlar iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde demografik bilgileri içeren 5 soru, ikinci bölümde ise öğretmenlerin Covid-19 pandemisi dönemindeki uzaktan eğitime ilişkin görüşlerini içeren 7 soru olmak üzere toplamda 12 soru yer almıştır. Veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilirken elde edilen sonuçlara göre Covid-19 Pandemi sürecinde gerçekleştirilen uzaktan eğitim sürecinde özel eğitim uygulamalarının sosyal beceri gelişiminde genel olarak etkili olmadığı, düşük oranda kısmen etkili olduğu görülmektedir. Her ne kadar uzaktan eğitim sosyal beceri gelişiminde tam anlamıyla etkili olmasa da bunları geliştirmenin mümkün olduğu belirtilmiştir. Özellikle aile katılımının sağlanabilmesi ve iş birliğiyle sosyal beceri gelişimine katkı sağlanabildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma grubundaki öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğu tablet ve bilgisayar gibi uzaktan eğitime bağlanacakları teknolojiden yoksun olduğunu, ayrıca internet alt yapısının yetersiz olmasının uzaktan eğitimdeki önemli eksiklikler olduğunu bildirmiştir. Ayrıca aile ile iletişim kurmada zorluk ve ailenin uzaktan eğitime sürecine dahil edilememesi, sosyal beceri eğitiminde uygulama imkanının olmaması da önemli eksiklikler olduğu dile getirilmiştir. Aile ile yeterli iş birliğinin sosyal beceri gelişimine destek sağlayacağı düşünülürken, okul-öğrenci-veli iş birliğinin sistematik ve sistematik bir şekilde planlanması, velilerin ise öğrenciye destek olmasının önemli olduğu belirtilmiştir.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the effects of distance education applications in the Covid-19 process on the social skill development of students who require special education, according to the opinions of special education teachers. The study is a phenomenological (phenomenological) study, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of 20 teachers working in public primary schools affiliated to the TRNC Ministry of National Education and Culture in the 2021-2022 academic years. The study group of the research was determined by“convenience sampling.”The forms prepared by the researcher in order to collect data in the research consist of two parts. In the first part, there were 5 questions containing demographic information, and in the second part, 7 questions containing the views of teachers on distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic period, a total of 12 questions. According to the results obtained while analyzing the data with the descriptive analysis method, it is seen that the special education practices in the distance education process carried out during the Covid-19 Pandemic process are generally not effective in the development of social skills, but are partially effective at a low rate. Although distance education is not fully effective in the development of social skills, it has been stated that it is possible to develop them. It has been concluded that especially with the participation of the family and the cooperation of the teacher-family, social skills development can be contributed. The majority of the teachers in the research group reported that they lacked the technology to connect to distance education such as tablets and computers, and that the insufficient internet infrastructure is an important deficiency in distance education. In addition, it was stated that the difficulty in communicating with the family, the inability to include the family in the distance education process, and the lack of practice in social skills training are also important shortcomings. While it is thought that adequate cooperation with the family will support the development of social skills, it is stated that it is important for school administrators to support teachers and plan systematically, and for parents to support students.
