Özet
Bu çalışma, Antik Yunan tanrısı Dionysos'a dair mitoslarla erken dönem Hıristiyanlıkta İsa Mesih'e atfedilen anlatılar arasındaki tematik ve sembolik benzerlikleri karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemektedir. Özellikle doğum, ölüm, diriliş ve göğe yükselme temaları ile asma ve şarap sembolizmi odağında, Dionysos ve İsa arasındaki olası etkileşimler değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında öncelikle Dionysos'un mitolojik kimliği, yayıldığı bölgeler ve farklı boyutlarıyla mitosları ele alınmıştır. Ardından Dionysos'un Orphik gelenekteki konumu, kozmogoniden antropogoniye, ruh-beden düalizminden eskatolojik inançlara geniş bir bağlamda öğreti temelli analiz edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda Orphizm'in Hıristiyanlık ile ortak görülen bazı özellikleri de değerlendirilmiştir. Tezin önemli kısmını oluşturan son odak noktası ise Dionysos'un yaşam öyküsü ile İsa'nın hayatına dair anlatılar arasında kurulan paralelliklerin, erken dönem Hıristiyan ve pagan yazarların metinleri üzerinden sistematik biçimde tartışılmasıdır. Araştırmada belgesel tarama yöntemi esas alınmış; veriler, deskriptif ve karşılaştırmalı analiz edilmiştir. Antik metinler genel olarak orijinal dilleri olan Antik Yunanca üzerinden incelenmiş; filolojik ve teolojik analizler yapılmıştır. Arkeolojik buluntular, ikonografik unsurlar ve sembolik temsil biçimleri de incelemeye dahil edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Dionysos ve İsa'ya ilişkin anlatılarda özellikle asma ve şarap sembolizminin yanında tanrının ölümlü bir anneden doğması, ölüm ve ölüme karşı zafer kazanarak diriliş motifi ve göğe yükselmesi temel öğelerinde tematik yakınlıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu benzerliklerin, erken dönem pagan ve Hıristiyan yazarlarca fark edildiği, ortak kültürel, dini ve sembolik bir zeminden kaynaklandığı, özellikle Yuhanna İncili bağlamında Dionysos kültünün etkilerinin belirgin biçimde hissedildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study comparatively examines the thematic and symbolic similarities between the myths of the ancient Greek god Dionysus and the narratives attributed to Jesus Christ in early Christianity. The possible interactions between Dionysus and Jesus were evaluated, especially focusing on the themes of birth, death, resurrection and ascension to heaven, as well as the symbolism of the vine and wine. Within the scope of the research, first of all, the mythological identity of Dionysus, the regions he spread to and his myths with their different dimensions were discussed. Then, the position of Dionysus in the Orphic tradition was analyzed in a broad context from cosmogony to anthropogony, from soul-body dualism to eschatological beliefs, based on doctrine. In this context, some common features of Orphism with Christianity were also evaluated. The last focus, which constitutes the important part of the thesis, is the systematic discussion of the parallels established between the life story of Dionysus and the narratives about the life of Jesus through the texts of early Christian and pagan writers. The documentary scanning method was used in the research; The data were analyzed descriptively and comparatively. Ancient texts were generally examined through their original language, Ancient Greek; philological and theological analyses were conducted. Archaeological findings, iconographic elements and symbolic representations were also included in the study. As a result, it was determined that there were thematic similarities in the narratives of Dionysus and Jesus, especially in the symbolism of vine and wine, as well as the god's birth from a mortal mother, death and the motif of his resurrection by triumphing over death, and his ascension to heaven. It was concluded that these similarities were noticed by early pagan and Christian writers, that they stemmed from a common cultural, religious and symbolic ground, and that the effects of the Dionysian cult were clearly felt, especially in the context of the Gospel of John.
